And that concludes this Sunday’s sermon. We will all try to do better
I’m everyone’s typeI don't think you're his type.
Ha!I’m everyone’s type
Not saying any of you are wrong for pointing out the hypocrisy and walkback, but no L*ker fan I know says "I lost all respect for K*be in 2007 and hated that he came back and helped us win 2 more rings and retired after playing 20 years for the same team."
You are right Sheed . Bunch of sucka's in here now. Get off on their Dame hate. They've got their lips firmly grasped around Cronin's cack. Eat it Haters. Keep crying with your lame , tired , takes on how much money the team's given him. HE EARNED EVERY PENNY whiners. No blame on the front office at all huh, zero? Loyalty goes both ways
sure but Kobe had already won them three rings. Dame hasn’t won shit.Do people not remember that K*be did something similar in 2007, but almost even worse?
He demanded a trade out of LAL, and had CHI, SAS and PHX on his list. Then Kupchak agreed to a trade with CHI, but K*be said "I'm not going there if they send Luol Deng back." So Kupchak tried to get different teams involved (including CLE for Lebron!), and DET said they're interested.
I've been thinking about this since the June 26 meeting...what if we don't get anything done now, but bring Dame back with the assumption we'll trade him at the deadline and things happen that make it so that we're getting the good players back instead of trading Dame? And maybe Dame can walk it back a bit and say something like "If ever I left Portland, I'd only be interested in MIA, but if that can't work out I'm here!"

Hot take: 99% will root for Dame and his new team in next year's finals.
Hot take: 99% will root for Dame if he stays and plays for the Blazers.
The second one sure. First one, no way.
He said PDX
sure but Kobe had already won them three rings. Dame hasn’t won shit.
Quick question, did Dame get a divorce from his wife? I've noticed a number of people either mention it or possibly allude to it. Someone said something in a thread and got a few likes about him having fun with ladies in Miami after his divorce. Not sure if people are saying all this metaphorically (like this post seems to be?) or if that really happened. When I search for it, all that comes up in amicable divorce...from the Blazers.Ten years of trust patiently built in this marriage erased in a summer with a bimbo from South Beach. Good luck rebuilding it.
Not falling for this.

I haven't seen this, can someone link the tweet?Comes right after he liked the tweet bashing Jody Allen, then walked that back.
Yeah, Dane's really sincere.
But that hasn't happened here, either. If Dame tomorrow said "psyche, MIA can't get anything Joe will buy off on, and I damn sure don't want to go to BOS, so I'll stay here and play and see what happens" it'd be the same situation K*be came back to in 2007. And retired 9 years after that as a L*ker demi-god.He already had the cache' of having won rings, and then won 2 more while never leaving. If he had left, and the L*kers got crap for him, I'm guessing there would have been some fans that were none too happy.
I think people just feel dumped and the only two parties they can take out frustrations on are Dame/Cronin. Cronin isn't out on IG live daily, so Dame is currently the punching bag.
I fully agree with you on everything else. As long as he doesn't go into the HOF as a member of he Heat, he always is an adopted PNW mainstay to me. He and his family are too embedded in the community to up and leave.
I'm a Blazer fan. I've always had player favorites (TP is my all-time fave), but in the end, it's a business. I root for laundry, and I'm okay with that. You will note that Dame hasn't even bothered to mention the fans or the community in this change. It would have been simple to do, but he's chosen not to do it. To me, that speaks volumes. The fans are like the kids in a divorce. The parents have all the power, and we just have to accept the new situation.
And that concludes this Sunday’s sermon. We will all try to do better
Hot take, unless dame goes to Boston with Tatum and brown or Milwaukee, he is not in next year's playoffs anywayHot take: 99% will root for Dame and his new team in next year's finals, unless against the Blazers.

It's simply speculation. She has been off all social media platforms and absent in all the photos or videos he or his family have posted over the past 6 months or so. Whether that's a divorce or she's simply taking a break from being out in the public so much, it's unknown. And I don't think it's our place to conflate such things with what's on the court.Quick question, did Dame get a divorce from his wife? Why do some posters believe by criticizing Dame for his actions, it equates to "trashing" him or "s**ting on" him?
How many rings would Dame/Giannis have won by now?
