He owns this city, he could could be the next Kevin Johnson and become Mayor someday.Man Dame is so all in on Portland he isn’t going anywhere anytime soon

Maybe mayor of West Linn, Portland or even Oakland. KJ was born in Sac.So, he'll be the mayor somewhere other than where he played professionally?

The only parallel I used (go read my post) was maybe like Johnson he could become mayor. Maybe he becomes a member of congress like other hoopers have? And attended Cal, if I remember right. So, if you're using KJ as a parallel for Dame, Oakland or somewhere in Utah would be his likely political destinations, not anywhere in Oregon.

Jazz have sucked since he got hurt."I love Joe Ingles for us."

He didn’t misspeak. I knew what he meant. You did too. That might be what you meant, but it's not what you expressed... "He owns this city, he could could be the next Kevin Johnson and become Mayor someday." That strongly implies Mayor of Portland, by beginning it with owning this city.
Not a big deal either way. I just don't get people being unwilling to admit they misspoke.

The Joe Ingles part is very intriguing for sure. I honestly did not think he was going to be staying but even an interview Joe gave was a different story.

Hence why I said I did not think he would be sticking around but I guess the team would know more about that than I.the issue is...when will he be ready?

so then, how realistic would it be to expect 35 year old Ingles to return-to-sport less than a year after his surgery? A year would be around the first week of next February
