Highkin is definitely my favorite local reporter. Least colored reported. Some info here:

1.) Dame and his camp were not happy we used the pick.

2.) Pelicans were trying to get Scoot for 14 + picks + Murphy. Highkin specifically mentioned Murphy. That is something I would have considered, but I understand why the FO would not.

He also mentioned that it's a 6 month trade restriction for Dame, so he could be traded today, not July 9th @wizenheimer

So, they wanted to fleece us again.

well, I was repeating what Woj, Fisher, and the guys at the RealGM CBA rules forum said. And I wasn't the only one saying July 10. I didn't say it until after I saw several people who usually know more about the CBA said it

maybe it was wrong, but I know that national media wasn't taking queue's from me. I even saw Woj repeat that in one of his interviews 2 or 3 weeks ago...or maybe it was Fisher

Dame should realize that all of his bitching and moaning about wanting help lowered the value of that pick. Trade for fucking Murphy? Fuck me what deal!

Getting a little frustrated with Dame at the moment.

the Pels reportedly offered the same deal to Charlotte...the SAME DEAL. How did Dame saying some things drop the value of Charlotte's 2nd pick?

What the fuck, what’s nonsense is your take with those other two posters that liked your post.

The man got trolled while being live by the DJ, he had no control of that and that’s why he was laughing about it.

Salty fan you are, after all these years Dame has showed us what he is about, and you just dismiss that because of song that was playing in the background he had no control of.

sad sad take
I think people can see that Dame is on his way out and want it not to sting so they'll start trying to find reasons why he's not the guy that they don't want to lose.
