Curry is a far better shooter from deep, but Dame draws almost twice as many fouls. Isiah was a far better passer and drew almost 2 more fouls per game but worse shooter from deep than Dame. Interesting comparisons, thanks!

Excellent idea to look at some comparisons. Dame is so underrated... Thankfully it seems like he's finally getting some recognition this year.

More minutes and more FT's per game explains the difference in points. Iverson is definitely the better defender. Still though, the company Dame is in at this point in his career is impressive.

Agree and disagree. The way I think of is that this is really Dame's 1st year as an awesome finisher. To compensate previously, he took bad shots. He isn't doing that now.

Still, Dame's eFG% is still better Westbrick, Thomas, and AI, above. Also, one could make the argument that Lillard's scoring average is much higher than Curry's if you include all of the games that Curry (and Dame) scored ZERO points (Curry has missed 5*82-336 = 74 games, Dame has missed 7)

Side comment: weird/bad comparisons. Dame is 3 games into what will probably be his best season, yet the comparators played a full 5th year. It would make a lot more sense to compare first 4 years, or wait until the season is over.
 
I also said we should have drafted Iverson instead of Lillard.

And after further searching for this epic meltdown thread, it appears that its deleted and lost in oblivion :( Though I stumbled across the thread where Mods were being elected and OdenIsGod went ballistic at HCP being nominated as a potential Mod. We've had some effing good meltdowns on here over the years guys!

I was just poking around at the old bbf site. First, wow what a ghost town. Not a single post in the Blazers forum since May. It appears even Mixum has given up on that site. No fun trolling when no one ever tries to cross your bridge.

Anyhow, I found these comments, by me, about Ike Diogu after a preseason game against UT back in October 2008:

"Ike Diogu reminds me a lot of Zach Randolph - without the rebounding. With his upper body bulk he can (and does) get his shot off against anyone, but he's a horrible, disinterested defender who totally lost his man (leading to a wide open dunk) on multiple occasions, He's also a black hole and a HORRIBLE passer. The few times he does actually try to pass it's likely to go right to a wide open DEFENDER. He's such a horrible passer you're actually better off with him forcing up a shot against a triple team than try to pass out to a teammate. I miss Channing Frye. I know a lot of people look at Ike's bulk and want him to be a great rebounder and defensive banger. He's neither."

I remember I wasn't a fan of Diogu, but Ed O. thought he was destined for greatness and was upset when we traded him. But, I don't specifically remember any great meltdown by him over the topic of ke Diogu.

That wasn't a single event. He was banned several times, under PapaG, as well as several other usernames (BGrantFan, Yoda of the Moda, NewsSource).

When it comes to getting banned, PapaG was the GOAT. If you count all his various aliases, he may have been banned more than all other posters combined.
