If Dame had Dre's court vision......watch out NBA!

If only watching Andre Miller could GIVE you his court vision.

Sadly, it won't.

I am a strong believer that game "film" helps players develop. You are either born with talent or your not, but I remember seeing Charles Barkley and Magic do things on the court and me and my boys trying to do the same thing at the park the next day.

lol, that reminds me of something funny Colin Cowerd said this morning. Said he played basketball everyday in high school and college and that once MJ blew up every guard wanted to be like Mike. They stopped passing the ball and ruined the pick-up game as we know it.

The key word is "trying".

If anyone can intentionally improve, I would say it's Lillard. His attitude is his greatest attribute. But there's a reason Dre is still so awesome at his age - because he is pretty much unique.

IMO, Damian Lillard has shown that he's committed to the idea of getting better. He's already said that he intends to spend the summer looking at video and working on weaknesses in his game. He's going to work with Payton on his defense and I'm sure he's going to be looking at other areas where he can improve. I think we'll see Damian Lillard 2.0 next season and it's going be fun seeing just how much better he will get.

I hear ya, but I know for a fact my game got better trying to copy Hakeem and Barkley post moves.

I don't think Damian will ever have elite court vision and that almost "sixth sense" that guys like Nash and Paul possess, but if he can get better on defense he's got a chance to be a bit like Chauncey Billups was in his prime or maybe even a little bit better.

I'd rather have him watch video of Gary Payton or Kevin Johnson.
