This team is a lot closer than many think in being a contender. With guys like Dame, Chauncey & Neil all on the same page, with some exciting younger players developing and many all stars wanting to come to Portland, were almost there! Rip City, Bingo, Bango, Bongo baby....

The question (by resident idiot aaron fentress) misrepresented Olshey's comments. This has nothing to do with you.
 
It makes perfect sense that Dame just wants what all of us want. He wants to win a championship here. He wants a better roster around him. He wants Neil to stop coasting and do what needs to be done. He's not happy with Neil being conservative for 9 years, just like we aren't. He's not asking for a trade. He did say he isn't fully decided on his future. Does that scare me? No. It makes sense. He wants to see change and he has the leverage to make that happen. Would you rather him sit around and be quiet about it? He wants to win a championship here. This is how it is done. You have to disrupt the status quo.
 
Curious as to how this will affect Dame and CJ’s relationship? Everyone knows that CJ is the tradeable asset to improvement. With Dame demanding big changes, CJ has to know he’s the most likely to leave.

It's great that Dame is on the same page as the fans, but it should scare you that Neil Olshey is the only one that can fix this mess.

You quoted my post which was referencing Olshey's press conference about it not being the roster and being the coach. If it has nothing to do with me, don't quote my post....lol.

No they aren't. It is clear Dame doesn't agree with you in that either. His opinion matters more than anyone in the world right now on this.
 
Dame want to stay and in order to improve the team, CJ must go so bye bye CJ and thank you.

We should see the team trade CJ and if necessary our two young prospects Ant and Nas... and every pick we have to in order to get Dame a second all star or actually all nba level teammate.
 
Well now that every GM in the league knows just how desperate Olshey is going to be good luck seeing any trades where we're not completely taken advantage of... great plan.

I agree that the Blazers' roster needs some upgrades in terms of top-end talent, but I think that the flameout to an injured Nuggets team was about 50-50 the blame of having guys who weren't fully in sync due to consistent injury issues and a failure of Stotts to adapt to the Nuggets. As far as rosters go, they only take you so far. We've got two teams competing for a title right now who weren't generally considered (particularly the Suns) to be favorites to contend for a title.. Rosters only get you so far, then you need some things to break your way.

Nurk + 2 FRP + 2 Swaps

I agree with whoever said we should have draft picks for a while
 
Wouldn’t that be great if we got info on dame Olshey and billups discuss today
