I feel like Billups is gonna charm Lillard in Las Vegas today.

That’s what I’m saying … bye CJ
It's great that Dame is on the same page as the fans, but it should scare you that Neil Olshey is the only one that can fix this mess.
You’ve got to see what:
CJ + 2 FRP + 2 Swaps
Nurk + 2 FRP + 2 Swaps
Can get you.
I agree with whoever said we should have draft picks for a while
Would love to be a fly on the wall.im curious to see what comes of the Dame-CB-NO meeting today.
Honestly I love everything about how Dame is, including the fact that he hasn't done this stuff until now. Until now Dame thought if he did the right things himself and kept talking about how bad he wanted to win it all that Neil would get the message and Dame wouldn't have to tell Neil how to do his job. Now Dame rightly has decided that he is going to have to tell Neil how to do his job and if Neil won't, Dame will demand a trade and do it in a way that helps the team and is in tune with who Dame is.It makes perfect silence that Dame just wants what all of us want. He wants to win a championship here. He wants a better roster around him. He wants Neil to stop coasting and do what needs to be done. He's not happy with Neil being conservative for 9 years, just like we aren't. He's not asking for a trade. He did say he isn't fully decided on his future. Does that scare me? No. It makes sense. He wants to see change and he has the leverage to make that happen. Would you rather him sit around and be quiet about it? He wants to win a championship here. This is how it is done. You have to disrupt the status quo.

This must be Neil's burner account. We will see, camp is around the corner.

Well now that every GM in the league knows just how desperate Olshey is going to be good luck seeing any trades where we're not completely taken advantage of... great plan.
No, that's Dame's friend. I'm sure in a not so round about way he's told Neil and is about to reiterate that CJ is not the right fit or level of player to help Dame win a championship while taking up near a third of the salary cap (I'm not saying team salary I know CJ is more like a fifth of that).Did Dame kind of throw CJ under the bus in a round about way ?
Awesome! Even though we don't always agree, and you have a tendency to take every statement literally, I always enjoy reading your takes. I will say they are usually devoid of emotion, which I think makes them very objective, but at the same time it sometimes feels robotic. But take that as a compliment, since I don't believe there is anyone else here who is a regular poster that gives the same type of insights.![]()
We won't be in limbo for long. Neil will either make shit happen and it will involve moving CJ and picks (and possibly Ant and Nas) or he won't and Dame will ask to be moved before this upcoming season. Dame made it pretty clear. I bet he is giving the team until he gets back from Japan and if things aren't to his standard by then he will demand a trade and if the team fucks around with him after that he will make things clear to us and the media. We are in limbo, either Trade Dame for young players/picks to pair with guys like Ant and Nas(wish Zach didn’t bust) or trade those guys with every pick we can to pair win now guys with Dame. If he’s really the guy you do the latter.

Well he just said that if he demands a trade it will be with Neil and it's not his way to tell everyone else... so unless Neil tries to pull a power play and tell Dame he's staying, I think Dame will keep it in house.Actually he has said over and over again if it has not come from him he has not said it. No. Not in today's NBA. It's the way things are pretty much handled any more.
yeah right! Just a loyal fan since day one and way before that like to think positive and give people the benefit of the doubt. Love the game but hate the negative reporting. This must be Neil's burner account.
Hi Neil.
yes sir! and with Chauncey one of the most respected people in the league we could very well become a destination for some solid free agents. This is going to be good. Free agents will see this and know Dame is serious about winning here. I have a good feeling.
James Harden basically said the exact same thing in Houston...not looking good for Portland.
nurk is having the best day of his life lol
it seems like he has a legit source (dame)
Hey man, love the positivity but Dame just said that Neil isn't getting the job done and if he doesn't change his sense of urgency that Dame won't be here next season. So Neil has been fucking up. The positive thing is that Neil made the Chris Paul trade half a lifetime ago, so we know he can pull off the big trade and he better.yeah right! Just a loyal fan since day one and way before that like to think positive and give people the benefit of the doubt. Love the game but hate the negative reporting.
