With Miller, Howard and now possibly Ime being added to the roster (and everyone else getting a year older) how are we supposed to hold our "youngest team in the league" crown? I'm so sad ...:sigh:

Yeah, let's hope as the average age of the Blazer players go up so does their win total for an eventual NBA championship.....

Maybe it's a good thing . . . considering the "youngest team in the NBA" has never coincided with "NBA champs."

On second thought maybe I should have put this "/sarcasm" at the end of my initial post.

Truly, I'm pretty much ecstatic that we don't have to hear Mike Barrett bring this up every other play during games this year.

many blazer fans are obsessed with rebuilding and potential

rebuilding is over. other then batum and bayless... so is potential.

this team has become about now. that means signing vets.

do you miss losing 50 games a year? if so, we can add non drafted college kids.

im so tire hearing about this youth crap

Try checking your glasses sport and read down a few lines and get yourself educated.

Our core isn't old and that's what really matters. I know you're not that serious about holding the distinction about not being the youngest team considering all that age is coming from the tail end of the bench. Hell, those guys might even be wearing suits half the time.

I think Darius Miles should still be included in the equation as well.

We weren't the youngest team in the NBA last year. :)

True, but after losing Raef and Ruffin we could have been the youngest this season if we would have just replaced them with our 2nd round picks or other similarly young players.

Not that it matters. I'll gladly trade the meaningless title of youngest team in the league for a few vets on the bench to help keep our young guys focused, but loose and not intimidated/awestruck in the play-offs.

Adding Andre Miller in place of Sergio made us older. It also made us better. Youngest, oldest, who cares? I prefer winningest.

Uh the loss of Sergio was pretty catastrophic I'll have you know. He will go on to help resurrect a Sacramento franchise while we have traded in the chance at a dynasty for Jeff Pendergraph and Andre Miller.
