Good things happen when Oden is in the game!
 
What I liked and didn't like from the 1st quarter.

Liked
-Brandon being aggressive on offense
-Steve Blake playing rather good defense, same for Dante since he was always around the ball
-Howard looks pretty good tonight, looks as if we will need him to be
-The crowd booing the Blazers for their poor play (After 3 days off I expected better play as well)

Did not like
-BS 2nd call on Oden when Oneal cleared him out 1st they always get the 2nd guy who hooks
-Why do our bigs always get called for a moving screen. Both our centers have 1 tonight. Is it because they do not know where the guard is going to go so they keep moving. It is obvious because we get called for so many that we don't work on this enough in practice.
-Overall team defense (where is it). This has to be blamed on Nate since he is a defensive coach and for the life of me why can't this team ever close out on a shooter.
 
Miller Rudy Roy (Howard) Oden. I like it (should be Aldridge if he was playin)
 
So anybody still think Rudy as a point guard is a good idea after that two forward trap forced a turnover?
 
LMAO, 3 people jump on Oden, it's not a foul and Oden still scores.

He can make some nice passes, but doesn't have the ball control to be a PG.

See, that's the thing. How incredibly wrong and fucked up was that? And O'Neal throws Oden to the side and Oden gets called? This isn't an isolated situation. It's every fucking game! I don't get it.
 
Roy shows some hustle for the first time this year!

Glad we're down just 2 because damn Miami was hitting everything earlier in the game...

See, this is exactly the type of stuff that I hate about the NBA. You can throw a saddle on Oden's back and ride him like a horse and no call but on the other end a guard bumps into him and its a foul. I understand that it is harder to call a game against the big guys but man, keep it consistent and call the obvious stuff!
 
Put in Webster. He can guard the Heat players unlike Rudy who has a size mismatch.
 
Nate so afraid of Oden getting his third even though Oden has two clean blocks after picking up two fouls. Wow MB is calling out nate for taking out our centers!

Great pass by Miller. Roy obviously didn't want the ball. Must have been hit like they said.
