Darrell Armstrong captain?

Has it been announced yet?

Announcers said it should be RJ. I would think that VC wouldn't want to be considered captain. Either that, or he'd be co-captain with RJ.

I don't think Vince would want to be a captain by himself, however given he's made statements that both RJ and himself would have to step up and lead the team I would think co captains would be the solution.

I was just looking around again and found out that Devin Harris was the Captain of the Mavs with Dirk.

Maybe we wait until the off-season and give him and Jefferson captain status.

I'm definetly all for giving Jefferson the captain status if management believes he will be around longterm. He's given alot for this franchise and deserves it.

Armstrong is a class act, I don't care what he said about whomever in Indiana but props to him for not whining on the sidelines about playing time. I'm curious to see how Frank distributes PG time when Harris gets back.

Armstrong should take his rightful place as designated towel waver...
Harris should get his 30 minutes...Marcus should get around 25 minutes.

Devin Harris was the Captain...and was given priveledges to call plays...but then, he got both taken away, because of poor play by the Mavs.

I think that most likely scenario is that RJ and VC are co-captains...or there are simply no captains named.

After seeing Darrell Armstrong tonight, I think he should be the captain.

He didn't play a minute and he showed more leadership than "Captain" Kidd did in two seasons.
