Even if this goes down, the article implies that it wont.

For the sake of discussion. I would love to have Tony on our team. We need more shooting and fewer "post" players.

Because it is a speculative argument on what trades 'could' happen. Notice the '?' in the title.

About the Mo Pete trade, I'd like it from the Blazers' point of view, but they are already stacked with swingman. I woldn't mind the loss of Davis, but Qyntel Woods looks like he has some potential and it wouldn't be wise to get rid of him at such an early stage in his career. The Blazers wouldn't want another Jermaine O'Neal.

All trade rumors are speculative!! When the GM comes out and says that he doesn't expect another trade, it's silly to make the title seem like that is what the article is about.

I don't think you read the article. He said chances are less than 50-50. Means may not happen but there is still a chance.
