Because my beloved Blazers have a roster made up of nearly 50% rookies and were eliminated from the "playoffs" weeks ago, the Rose Garden faithful stay at home and scalp away their tickets to anyone and everyone (including those purple and piss wearing fans)! Did you see how many Laker fans were in the crowd? Those were the ONLY people chanting...I can assure you that!

If the tickets were free, I would see the problem. However, for many to be able to cheer for games other than Miami, Boston, and Lakers they have to sell.

The season ticket holder base has also gotten smaller. The Blazers are also making money from Laker fans with the flex pricing.
