This is a problem I have. I get into a lot of debates, especially off-topic debates, and those kinds of debates can get really touchy. Also, a lot of people I like here have different views than me on those subjects, which means I get into heated debates with people I like or respect. I find it rather hard to be going full-out at someone, and then in another thread just talking normally. Does anyone else have this problem?

Lol Yeah I see what you mean - I feel awkward saying things to people I just got into a really heated debate with...but I just kinda forget about it and just say what I wanted to say...this happens to me a lot in the off-topic debates

I HATE my friend because he HATES the Celtics. I tweak on him when he acts like a Celtics hater, which happens all the time.

My supervisor at work thinks people choose to be gay...and it drives me nuts and I'm always trying to change her (wrong) opinion. I don't get in debates with friends or anything.

I would get into a debate with some of my friends sometimes, usually about why they shouldn't binge drink underage, and a lot of other stuff, such as secterianism and politics.

Most people I debate with (not on this board) don't know much about the subject, so it's not even fun.

I get into NFL debates quite a bit, since I have an NFL family.
