That strategy did not work so well for Tom Thibodeau. When you start asking a coach/player to be someone they're not, you've already lost.

I've never found yelling at someone, especially someone who is elite at what they do, has resulted in long term success. Personally, I would prefer they come up with a better game plan given their roster make-up than have a public screaming contest.

Most teams with good defense only have one shitty perimeter defender, so they can hide him on the worst offensive player on the other team. We unfortunately have two. A lot of those corner threes were CJ for some reason cheating into the paint.

In preseason game 3, there were open 3s all over the place, not just the corner.
Very Discouraging.
Part of me wants to skip the first 10 games of the season to allow the team time to figure out the new defense.
