The Delaware 87ers (6-21) defeated the Austin Toros (10-13) for the first of two games in as many days, 99-87.
Tiny Gallon had another outstanding night, scoring 22 points and pulling down six rebounds in 27 minutes of play. Sixers assignee, Lorenzo Brown added a double-double with 12 points and ten assists. The entire Sevens starting line-up scored in double digits.
The Toros led only once early in the first quarter. Austin's Josh Howard (18 points, four assists) led his team in scoring with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Efforts from forward Courtney Fell (17 points, four assists) were not enough to keep pace with the Sevens.
The 87ers return to action tomorrow, Tuesday, January 28, when they take on the Austin Toros. The game tips off at the Bob Carpenter Center at 7:00 p.m. E.T.
