You never had it. Even real papparazzi, when they harass show business celebrities, identify themselves. This was fake, a setup.

That's why people are voting for the tea party. At least it would be a new mistake rather than the same old one.

That should be their campaign slogan: "A New Mistake for America"

Which reminds me- since people are so unhappy with dems and the GOP these days, why isn't the libertarian party getting the vote out?

The answer is: there are things less popular than democrats and republicans.

Setup or not, the Congressman was an idiot. If we was going to engage the student, he should have done so respectfully, even moreso given the presence of the camera, regardless of the legitimacy (or lack thereof) of the question or the questioner. If he was incapable of doing so, he should have just continued walking, perhaps making a dismissive comment such as, "This is not the time or place for this kind of question." I agree with bodyman on this one--there is absolutely no justification for this kind of physical response to a (n admittedly loaded) question posed by a nobody, especially from a public figure who has a responsibility to maintain a positive public image.

Did you see how close that camera got to his face? And did you hear the question? He didn't grab the kid to cause harm, he grabbed the kid's hand in order to get the camera out of his face.

Shouldn't be putting his hands on him. They got even more than they wanted for him; they must be thrilled.
