I wonder who was going out in a Cousins trade???? I have to know!
 
But this doesn’t make any sense. That “roadblock” would’ve been there before talks would’ve even started.

Cousins agent clearly wants Nurkic to stay in Portland. Sounds like Neil wanted it to happen and by proxy, "Team Cousins" wouldn't let it happen.

Quick Carrot Top story..... waking down the sidewalk in Santa Monica with The Mrs HCP and a car flies out from an alleyway and I had to grab my wife by the shoulder and pull her back making her fall to the ground.....look up and if it and that Ginga Ninja lookin' mothafucka'! Almost killed the mother of children.....shit you not. Gave us a smile and a wave and peeled out.

Maybe he's been saying CJ is untouchable all along to keep his value up. He did the same with Eric Gordon. He promised Eric Gordon to his face that he wouldn't be traded and then Neil shipped him away for Chris Paul. Crossing fingers if it means we get an All Star forward.....

Because Nurkic's agent wouldn't have any of it since Nurkic wasn't going out in the trade. So they would be both on the same team and Nurkic (or Cousins even) wouldn't get the minutes they deserve since they would be sharing. Basically agent looking out for the best for both guys. Plus he knows his only path to decent money is POR right now. Nurkic isn't getting paid on the free agent market this summer if we cut him loose.

I just don’t believe it. We could’ve just renounced Nurkic if it was such a big deal. This almost sounds like a leak by Olshey.

Totally a leak by Neil... he is such a con artist... he just wants to make excuse that he was close when he does nothing
 
Neil talked about discussions that nothing came of at the Draft. Now he leaks something that didn't happen? This has happened before.

He is fast becoming the eternal excuse maker.

You certainly aren't going to get the agent to agree to that deal if there is any hint that his other client is being renounced. Come on now. The agent has to look out for both of his players. Cousins gets to rehab this year and win a 'ship and then get paid next year.

It’s getting really boring hearing him talk about things not coming together. I don’t want to hear it. Either do something or get the fuck out.
 
So looks like Nurk will sign a one year with us, become an free agent next summer and then we will sign Boogie to the Max!
