It makes no sense though, what if a player signs a cheap contract, blasts everyone away and his value is MUCH higher? He can't get paid by his worth? didnt Hassan Whiteside get like 25M after playing with the Heat for a season and half? he earned like nothing on his first contract with the Heat.

So they only win 68 teams instead of 81, big deal. I think Boogie wants to prove he is back, and why not do that on a team that is going to float to a championship. He’ll show what he has and then get the MAX from somebody next summer.
Don’t know if anybody else posted this, but I bet their starting 5 could beat this next season’s EAST AllStar starting 5.

I know you’re a major NBA fan in general, but don’t you feel any animosity towards these teams that are bogarding all the talent? It really has made the regular season and the first two rounds of the playoffs feel pointless to me.

I’m going to watch the games regardless of who I work for or what moves are made. Who is playing where doesn’t really bug me like it does most on here for some reason. ANybody else watch 3 meaningless NBA games yesterday? I have hoop issues.
