Republican Congressman Says God Will 'Take Care Of' Climate Change

Michigan Rep. Tim Walberg said during a town hall in Coldwater, Mich., on Friday that while he believes climate change is real, it is not something for humans to solve.

"I believe there's climate change. I believe there's been climate change since the beginning of time," Walberg said. "Do I think man has some impact? Yeah, of course. Can man change the entire universe? No."

He continued: "Why do I believe that? Well, as a Christian, I believe that there is a creator in God who is much bigger than us. And I'm confident that, if there's a real problem, he can take care of it."

I never thought I would say this, but can we replace him with Marky Mark Walberg? Or even Donny Walberg?

As Marky Mark whisper-raps in his magnum opus, Good Vibrations, "Yeah. You feel it baby? I do too".

China already leads the world in the manufacturing of wind turbines and solar panels.

Trump today announced a new coal mine will be opening next week.

a new coal mine will be opening next week.

About time! Geez!

Obama ought to be impeached retroactively for signing this deal, it is so bad for the US!l Unbelievable.
I can't for the live of me understand why the American people let that man ignore the Constitution by making Treaties on his own without approval of the Senate
That alone is reason for aborting the deal as it was never technically legal from the start.

As a Christian shouldn't he consider that 'god taking care' of it could be eliminating the virus causing the sickness?

Presumably Trump's speech writer thought "what's a shitty industrial town in one of the swing states? Ooh, not Detroit or Milwaukee - too black."

It does actually look like Bannon! It's got the red nose, at least.

And 3....2....1 hair on fire!

Here is an indication of where the sea shore for the east coast including Florida has been in previous cycles of sea level change.
Can anyone say or produce a link to where it says, how the Paris accord would change this so we never see returning to the red line?

it's not about us seeing it...it's about our great grandchildren seeing it....long term view...short term view seems old guys just want theirs now and fuck the future. Religion of the GNP. I've got grandchildren I'd like to know won't have chronic bronchitis or asthma from stupid industrial age decisions their grandparents made...I would hope they could drink well water when you and I are long gone. Takes foresight Marz....not instant gratification.

Wow! This is a failure to communicate on a scale I never anticipated. Not much point in continuing.

whatever gives you great joy.....you like to assign failure .... I'm starting to understand the Trump adoration you are basking in but we all continue whether you think there's a point or not. Global warming is no a myth but maybe you think it is....humans stop cleaning up behind themselves and the world becomes a nasty kitchen...

This chart is dated...it's long before a major meltdown raising the coastlines about 20 ft ....global warming data is projected with the industrial data and methane levels we spew out today...not 20 thousand years ago...continents have split...doesn't have anything to do with what's going on now with the polar caps and acid rain levels...we've managed to snowball heat in a way the cavemen couldn't quite manage..
