TRADE CHECKER APPROVED!

Deng could be the SF we need.

Rest of the season:

Miller / Blake / Mills

Roy / Rudy

Deng / Cunningham / Batum

LMA / Howard / Pendergraph

Oden / Pryzbilla

add a PF (banger-type) at the trade deadline by moving Howard + Top Pick

Why would we need Bayless? One reason we never resigned Gordon was because we're straying away from having two small guards (if thats angle you're gonna take, a possible Rose-Bayless backcourt). It wouldnt make sense for us. The deal with Rudy would be much better for us.

Why? Why? Because . . . what else would boomchakalaka do with his free time if he can't propose imaginary trades? If you don't like this one, check back tomorrow for another iteration ;)

I don't want to deal Bayless at this point. I would like to see if we could move Blake and Outlaw before the deadline. They're both expiring, so we might be able to net something of need. Not a star, but a serviceable player.

I want to see how Cunningham continues to work at power forward. He's been playing well. Right now I don't see any glaring weaknesses. We're solid at point guard, we're getting great production from the center position. Martell is playing well. Once Batum is back, we're golden. I'm enjoying Rudy back to his old self. If anything, we need to figure out a way to get Roy back to Roy, and we're good to go.

That deal would be a steal for the Blazers. Replacing Bayless with Rudy would be a win-win, and obviously more interesting to the Bulls.

I like the Bulls' 2 SFs better than the two you're offering. Deng and Salmons.

Admit it Denny, you just like Salmon's beard.

I'm more a fan of Drew Gooden's.

Speaking of Gooden, seems he's a major contributor to the Mavs' success this season.

spending 100 million (inc lux tax) for a slightly above average SF with an injury history when we have other options, while giving up one of the most efficient bench scorers in the league who costs next to nothing would not be a win for the blazers.

We need to get away from trying to trade for "names". We need solid role players at this point.

Agreed about "Roy back to Roy"

Deng's not really a name is he?

Take a look at his stats!

I want his stats and his style of play at the SF on the Blazers.

I would say he's borderline. He's dropped off the radar a bit because of injuries though.

I don't see what the Bulls would do with Bayless, so I'd have to say no to this one.
