Without Roy I predict

@Boston L
@ Detroit W
New Orleans W
Utah L
@ Houston L
@ Dallas L

FEBRUARY

Charlotte W
@ Utah L
San Antonio W
Los Angeles Lakers L
Oklahoma City W
@ Phoenix L
Los Angeles Clippers W

That puts us at 6-7 with overall of 32 - 24, we can make the playoffs with that record and then getting back roy

just how long do you expect roy to be out? thats like 3 weeks

Man, you are a DRAMA QUEEN, lol. Every game, turn or twist, injury is "it". If I have learned one thing this crazy year it's that trying to predict how this team plays is impossible. Just relax dude.

Lose at home to LA? WTF? We could be down to 4 healthy bodies and beat those guys at the Garden.

bobcats game will be a nightmare matchup... quick guards and 2 guard/forwards that will eat us alive.

You also said that the games against Cleveland and LA would determine if we made the playoffs or not.

look at the schedule bro.... look at the schedule and imagine if roy misses half or all of it.

you could be talking about 1 win

I can't keep up with how many threads Mixum starts saying if we lose this game we miss the playoffs or the next stretch of games will determine if we go to the playofffs.

It's the record in the end that matters. You always win some you shouldn't win, and lose some you shouldn't lose. The most important thing is just try to win as many games against division opponents as you can.

Well Roy isn't going to be missing half or all of the schedule because his injury isn't that serious. Stop being such a downer all the time. I don't understand how you consider yourself a "fan" when most of the time it seems like you are hoping we lose so you can be right about your ridiculous predictions.

i just see the glass half empty... or what if it falls over

lol, you are an "alarmist" and seem to over react all the time, that's cool and we know you well and take it all with many grains of salt

I could see the following:

@Boston L
@ Detroit L
New Orleans W
Utah L
@ Houston L
@ Dallas L

FEBRUARY

Charlotte W
@ Utah L
San Antonio W
Los Angeles Lakers L
Oklahoma City W
@ Phoenix L
Los Angeles Clippers W

6-8. It doesn't hurt us that much.

depending on something...this upcoming other something MIGHT decide something else?

Dude, MIXUM, you say this every week. And then you justify it every time you say it.

Mixum doesn't bother me as much as he does some of you (in fact buried under his bitter beer face he's actually got some pretty astute observations) ... but, man it must be exhausting being you?!

He sure does suck the fun out of everything pretty effectively.

The next 39 games are TOTALLY going to determine whether we make the playoffs!

IF....... roy is out to the all star break..... season is OVER.

I actually would like to see what this team does without Roy. We need to find someone else to be another "go to" gut in the fouth quarter. I'd like to see Aldridge become that player. I also want to see how Rudy performs with a starting role and heavy minutes.

This season hasn't turned out the way we wanted it to, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been a great one. I love seeing players step up and this team's performance has been all heart.

I agree completely. For me, this season has become less about contending than it has about watching players grow and a team learning to fight through adversity. This is a great chance to see what Bayless and Rudy can do in Brandon's absence. And, like you said, this is an opportunity for Aldridge to step out of his second fiddle personna a see if he can become the main man on the court. I've also really enjoyed watching Miller's play lately. I'm sure that we're going to see more losses than we would have otherwise, but the team may actually be better off in the long run for having to learn to play without relying so much on Brandon.
