Did Neil tell Aldridge to say those things? I doubt it

This is a bullshit move by Aldridge to try to deflect some of the vitriol. It's a classless move. Give me a fucking break. Why would Aldridge say those things if Neil told him to do it? It makes zero sense. If he wanted out, and he was thinking about leaving, there's no way his agent would let him say all those things. Now he's catching a lot of heat and he's trying to direct it at Neil.

Fuck you LaMarcus. Grow a fucking pair. You were soft on the court and you're soft as a man. You earned every bit of this hate you're receiving. Just take it and move on.

Neil very could have said that...

This organization is funny that way. Just look at it's history going way back to the Patterson era. They are organization that does their best to control the message. It wouldn't surprise me at all. To make LA a villain and or liar without knowing the facts is ridiculous.

Did he come out and say he wasn't returning to Portland after the season? Nope. I suspect he leaked things to try to soften the blow, but he never came out and said, "I'm not coming back. Move on."

He has no guts. He wouldn't even meet with Dame face to face.

He has an agent. He probably has a publicist. There's no fucking way this would get past them. Nope. Sorry. Don't think so.

The only problem I see is what purpose does it serve? He's gone, what Portland fans think of him will have almost zero impact on his national "brand." All this hate he's receiving probably isn't even finding its way to the target.

We have established that LaPuke is a liar - the question is whether Olshey was complicit in it.

He's yet to even thank the fans or Portland. Neither has Wes which has surprised me considering we believed and over paid for him when nobody else would. Which turned out to be great value but still.

Lamarcus made a choice and could be a smart one. Neil made his pitch and Pops made a better one. I don't see any of this as a character flaw, but a simple decision made with pressure of a lot of options. He wants a ring while he's still got the game. Neil knew this was possible

How have you established that?
Whether he was put up to it or not, he's public comments about wanting to be the best Blazer ever, blah, blah, blah turned out to be a lie. That's pretty easy to verify (not that it really means much to me).

I got an igloo I have for sale in San Antonio I want to sell you. It's a good deal

Folks act as if nobody has ever changed their mind before. What happened before this season ended, ended as well. People agree to get married and back out when it comes time to sign the deal. Doesn't mean they're liars. Just means they've changed their mind.

If this is leaked by Aldridge's camp, I guarantee its making its way to him

With all the things you're saying lately, I'm starting to think that Olshey is telling YOU what to say.

What if Aldridge's selfish intention is to burn our franchise to the ground so he doesn't have to bare to watch us succeed without him?

LMA isn't claiming "I changed my mind." He is claiming Olshey asked him to lie. Rather a major difference!

I don't care about him changing his mind. I was defending him and his decision. I'm pissed that he wants to create more damage

If you believe that then you might as well get yourself one of these
