McCollum's brother, Errick, is leading the China Basketball League in scoring. Averaging 38.6 points per game.

I lived overseas and watched a lot of Chinese league hoops...centers are usually 6'6 or so and the game is slow. WNBA teams would beat a lot of those teams. CJ is a classic tweener..he has talent and a work ethic but I'm not sold on his game yet. Hope I'm wrong

Meyers could have a solid career over there, and he'd instantly be a superstar.

Yes, we should have drafted this McCollum:

All you guys are wrong about CJ, he is gonna be the best slow footed tweener guard EVER

I really hope so...I get the impression he's cramming for finals in the NBA level defense course this season and that's a good thing...if he puts a total game together, he'll become a rotation player on a small ball roster for sure. I just have a feeling he's a year away at this point, same as Meyers

He was the mystery man of that draft. I don't blame Neil for passing.

Passing on Adams stings though. At 19, Adams was every bit as big as a healthy Oden who showed great defensive instincts at Pitt.

Granted I was a huge CJ fan on draft day but I had Adams as my 1b - he has rare center size. Name a bigger shit-starter/pest right now than Steven.

He gets under your skin like Laimbeer and Oakley.

Hindsight is 20/20. nobody could have guessed he would be that good based upon what he was doing to the Greeks.

Local Draft Guru D69 had both Adams and Giannis ahead of CJ. His history with the Draft is uncanny over the last 10 years. Somewhere I wrote a post on his selections over the years at where the Blazers picked and with one exception, he nailed it every time.
