I've had a few warehouse jobs doing inventory. Those SUCK ass. JC Penny is the worst, fucking slave drivers, wake up at 5am and count towels, move furniture.
 
I worked at OHSU in animal research one summer. It was actually chill but I scooped up dog and pig shit from the research animals, and packed up bedding for the cages for research mice. It was the same job that guy at harvard had last summer when he murdered that student....people i worked with were really chill though so it wasn't so horrible.
 
Busboy at Elmer's on 205. Various military things you don't want to hear about.
 
I handed out samples at costco. Its so fucking boring + customers are like uncaged animals at feeding time.
 
19 y/o College freshman I had a job with the city park opps. Landscaping, etc.

Once a week we had to supervise and order around prison workers. A 19 y/o goody goody I was uncomfortable to say the least. I got used to it but I had to listen to them talk amongst themselves. This one guy looked like your typical 'gangsta,' tatted up from head to toe, he couldn't wait to get back to his cell because he was going to some "stick p***y" that night.

Fucking gross, man. I hated those days when I had to boss around prisoners.
 
I worked in a cheese factory, but that was actually fun.

I have not enjoyed any jobs working with food service (dishwasher, server, fast food). It has ruined my ability to enjoy food at a resturant.
 
2005-2006 I was a Hot Tar Roofer... the job was actually on the show.. Dirty Jobs lol.
 
I had a graveyard shift job cleaning the ovens they cooked the sausage in at the Reser plant near Washington Square. They were walk-in ovens that never shut off so they stayed at 130 degrees. You had to scrub them with an industrial version of Easy-Off, so you had to wear chemical-proof clothing from head to toe, including a hood and a respirator. After 10 minutes you were hacking away from the fumes and poaching in your own sweat. You couldn't wipe your face, so you had to wear a headband, but your eyes still stung from the sweat and chemicals.

When you came out of the ovens, you were covered in a combination of caustic chemical and liquid smoke. The smell never went away. I haven't eaten a Reser sausage since.
 
Uggh, I had to clean the ovens when I worked at Sbarro at washington square. that shit is caustic.

I worked construction where I did hot tar roofing. That is one hot job. I always had these little burns from the the hot tar splatter. That smell bums me out to this day.

I also worked for a foundation company, where we had to dig foundations and spread waterproof coating. When you worked in the crawl space, it was even more fun.

oh man so you can sympathize. What a crappy Job. Yeah little burns constantly. I remember one time I stopped sweating. It was a day when on the ground it was 107 degrees, then being up high on a commercial costco sized building with 500 degree tar.. ugh. I finally quit with all the idiots I worked with. When we had the black paper to tar over, someone was supposed to chalk out the skylight things, and a meth head forgot to do it. A guy walking with a hot tar bucket went right through it with the hot tar bucket on him. Thats when I said F it, I'm not keeping my life in the hands of these idiots. So does that mean you had to yell "PULLIN HOT!" ? lol.
 
I only had to do it for one day, but it still sucked HARD. During Operation Desert Storm, we had cut-down barrels under the shitters. They were maybe 16" tall, with a handle cut into the side. When they'd get half full, someone would be tasked to burn the contents. I had to drag them quite a ways downwind from camp, then sit there with a can of diesel and a tent stake. Burn and stir, burn and stir, try to stay down wind, try not to catch fire, try not to melt in the heat of the sun (it was in January, so it was relatively cool at around 90 degrees). I can't decide which is more disgusting, dragging a sloshing barrel full of shit and piss, or spending a whole day keeping it lit and watching it burn for several hours. I bet I drank more water that day than any other day of my life...
