I would include Shaedon in a trade for Embiid. It would suck to see him go and I'd much rather it be Ant, Nurk, Nas, picks 3 and 23 (guarantee the Bulls our pick in 2024 by sending them a future second) 2025 pick swap, 2026 first, 2027 swap, 2028 first, 2029 swap, 2030 first.Giannis or if we get two of Bridges Brown Embiid Siakam. Those are the only players I trade Sharpe for.
Yeah those are all extremely unlikely trades - that's the point, he's nearly untradable.
I trade #3 or Dame before Sharpe.
ASSUMING we can get a "stud"... we still may not get home court advantage this year, and we'll be paying out the wazoo for Dame, Grant, and "stud" for the privilege. The seal of approval on Sharpe seems pretty set.
Simons is merely one the best shooters in the NBA, and he’s not THAT short … but his below average D … and he has value. The idea of Simons plus the 3rd frigging pick not getting a serious forward to go with Grant? There’s good reason to have hope — Dame + Sharpe + Grant + incoming Stud … Getting 3 was so lucky!
If you got Siakam and pick 13 for Ant, Nas and pick 3 then you would still have Nurks salary pick 13, pick 23, the GP2 TPE, if we wanted all of our future FRPs starting in 2026 and swaps starting in 2025 to try and build an immediately contending roster. You can get some pretty damn good rotation players to go with Dame, Shaedon, Grant and Siakam with all of those assets.ASSUMING we can get a "stud"... we still may not get home court advantage this year, and we'll be paying out the wazoo for Dame, Grant, and "stud" for the privilege.
The reality is that some Blazers fans tell themselves that Siakam would make a big difference the same way they told themselves Grant would make a big difference. Siakam would be better (he BETTER be, if we're giving up Simons and a likely future star) but the team still would not be very good.

Keep saying that and maybe it'll make it true.Simons… and he has value.

Edit: crap. Does anyone know how to shrink up a vid size like pictures, to be small enough to post here?
With pics, i email myself to resize, but the video i want to post isn't providing that option.

I truly don't get how you're trying to frame this holds any logical water. The only way they trade Dame this offseason is if he demands a trade plus they get an offer they want. If they keep the pick, does Dame demand a trade?Reasonable enough. But trade Dame and lose the trade. That’s what happens, but sometimes it’s better than getting nothing

While I reserve the right to change my mind as I'm still digging through things, I don't think Scoot makes it to #3. If so, I'm guessing they pass on Miller and take Walker who (IMO) is not only at least as good a prospect, but would make them better in the short term.I think Dame would demand a trade only if Cronin didn't add any veterans at all. Scoot or Miller should be more ready to contribute than Sharpe was this past season. Dame will see that if he attends the workouts. Sharpe's going to be better next season than he was his rookie season. That by itself adds talent to the roster.
they always say players are first to know if young guys can become stars.
like when every superstar in the league was blowing smoke up Devin Booker's ass when he was losing 60 games a year.
Walker is considerably lower rated than the top 4 guys. I would be prepared to root for Walker if he was drafted here, because I trust Schmitz. But I would hope it’s trading down to #5 with more assets coming back to us.While I reserve the right to change my mind as I'm still digging through things, I don't think Scoot makes it to #3. OK Eddy. Absolutes are okie dokie when you're spewing them.ASSUMING we can get a "stud"... we still may not get home court advantage this year, and we'll be paying out the wazoo for Dame, Grant, and "stud" for the privilege.

Lol i was getting so much shade here by some of you for saying Shaedon can still grow last yr and be a mainstay SF.
6'8 is tough to believe but sure why not.
Who is this guy with 100 followers and what credibility does he have? I don’t believe this… but will be happy if it’s true.
It's three inches I'm sure he'll be fine
