I drink coffee "because/even though" it's "good for me/bad for me" according to "this study/that other study" done by "these experts/those experts"...

But I always wear a mask when I do.
Coffee filters double as masks...better to double them up though..all you need are two rubber bands...also they'll remove any pesky grounds that got through the first drip

Coffee makes me shit almost all day. I prefer energy drinks. There’s a new one called Shoc is real good. I only see it for sale in Oregon.

I drink coffee constantly and don't understand people who don't. Haha. It helps me poop, tastes delicious, gives me pep. Definitely a part of my morning ritual in waking up and getting ready for the cruel world.
My first roommate when I was 18 used to set his coffee maker to make for him like at 5am on his way to work. I'd get up and leave for work at 8. So I woke up to the smell of burnt coffee everyday for years. I CAN'T STAND THAT SHIT! And my brother in law runs all the Stumptown warehouses!
Thats like being Pablo Escobar's uncle and not ever trying coke!

Tea for me....hot or cold, don't matter.

There's nothing quite like my morning coffee grinding away while I'm taking the dogs out for their morning poops. Oh, and, yeah, I've already had mine. No problem there.

Going to quit caffeine at least for a while.

For over a month I have had noise in right ear. First just annoying, then loud enough to disturb sleep. My primary said many people have sinus problems due to bad air, suggested nose spray, rinses and benadryl. Didn't work, benadryl didn't help me sleep, just gave me nausea.

Went to specialist, she found small piece of wax stuck directly on eardrum and pulled it out. Didn't work, it's gotten louder and louder. Imagine an alarm clock perpetually ringing in your ear.

Five weeks without a night's sleep or a moment of peace and quiet. Ready to ask doctor to remove entire internal structure of ear, sacrifice hearing on that side for end to noise.

Long shot but seeing if giving up caffeine helps.

Primary physicians are near worthless for hearing problems. Get referred to an audiologist.

It sounds like you have tinnitus, no pun intended. B12 and Magnesium may help. No cure so far and surgery helps only about half the time.

All coffee, to me, tastes and smells like the same coffee. So no, I don't drink it. I really don't do caffeine anymore either.

Im similar with wine/Champagne, and most alcohols. My brother makes hard ciders and even the ones that are flavors I would like, tastes like I'm drinking rubbing alcohol.

I also think cilantro tastes like soap, so maybe I'm not the best judge.

If I want to have a healthy dump (thanks for the discussion OB!) I like oatmeal.
If I want to not have one, just eat peanut butter and I get plugged like a damn.
Oh man, there's differences in different coffees. I find Boyd's to have the best flavor and smell. I tried drinking it black the first two years that I began drinking coffee but just couldn't take it. Finally I gave up and started adding just a small splash of half and half and hit nirvana. Don't use sugar. Can't tolerate a lot because it sends my tremor problem over the top. Not too crazy about decaf but I do succumb to half decaf and half regular when there is Boyd's coffee around. Add a donut and life's pretty good. Make that a breakfast at the Original Pancake House which serves Boyd's coffee and I'm all in.

My wife has tinnitus and we've been to all kinds of specialists to no avail. She use to work in a cookie factory with all kinds of constant loud sounds and we figure that's where it got started. Stay away from loud noises.

This came in this week. Replaced my old keurig and nespresso. Saves counter space.

Also started using the Starbucks app. Order drink before I shower and then pick up on the way to work.

Pretty good, saves a shitload of time

But Starbucks is awful coffee
Depends on what you get. the Vienna blend is pretty good and the Park Place blend i like also.
Saying "Starbucks" is like saying "Denny's". Do i like eating at Denny's? Not really but there are breakfast dishes there that are good.
Do i go out of my way to find a Starucks? No. I don't go out of my way to find a McDonalds either.
