At home I've been drinking with a bit of milk to try and slowly get rid of my lactose intolerance and get some calcium. Other than that its always black.
Coffee tastes disgusting to me and caffeine makes me feel bad, plus I don't want to be addicted to it
caffeine is my favorite addiction. I have given up a few, but coffee is nothing but good to me. smells great, tastes great, wakes me up in the morning, keeps me kicking during the day. I usually don't have coffee after 6PM, but sometimes after a quality meal, let the women order desserts, I'll just drink a cup of joe.
It makes me feel jittery and gives me an upset stomach, and then when it wears off I feel even worse.
And the Coffee taste/smell is seriously disgusting to me, even worse than alcohol! People still tell me both of those are acquired tastes.. But I don't think I'm going to acquire those tastes.
How old are you?
If they aren't good to you, then I suppose you save a few bucks and a headache. Coffee I love the taste of, alcohol I have never loved in the same way, it's more of an appreciation, especially with wine and some whiskey. But I also drink the least of any male friend or family member who isn't stone cold sober.
I'm 21. I've just never yet had any coffee or alcohol that I enjoyed the taste of.
Funny how that only stops me from drinking coffee, not alcohol.
If you don't like the taste of alcohol but you drink it then it must be peer pressure. You don't have to drink alcohol to have a good time.
Or it could be he likes the feeling of bing tipsy or drunk, or just likes the affect as a social lubricant. Taste is but one component, and likely the least important. Just look at the prohibition, people kept on drinking and fighting for their right to drink even though the bulk of what they had to imbibe was bathtub gin and rotgut, not known for their taste.
Nobody drinks alcohol when they don't like the taste without peer pressure being involved unless you have an alcohol problem.
False. I enjoy some now, but I didn't years ago. I drank because I liked the feeling, but I never got carried away with drinking. I did not then, and do not now, have a drinking problem.
