Do you have a problem with NFL QB's having tattoos?

The 1950's were a strange era.

to be honest i thought the same thing "huh, thats odd, you dont see alot of QBs with alot of tattoos"

its odd but nothing wrong with it. Kinda like eyebrow piercings.

Jay Williams and Jonathan Coachman on ESPN radio last night were saying that there's "Definitely" something racial to this. Saying how guys like Big Ben, etc have tattoos and they're not brought up

I would ask the writer why he thinks a QB is a "CEO of a multi-billion-dollar operation". That's like saying I'm the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs just because I'm in a leadership position.

the guy has 2 black daughters, you guys sure you want to call him racist? :tsktsk:

he thinks tattoos are for hells angels and prison inmates, just like prolly 35% the country

Racist no. Arrogant, condescending and judgemental....but not racist.

Win games for the team I am rooting for, and I don't care if you have a hippo's asshole tatooed over your face. I don't care how you dress or what type of car you drive. I can even overlook that you like rap and/or country music.

Count me amongst the "I don't understand why anyone would get a tattoo" thinkers. Most of my friends have tattoos. Hell, a good portion of my relatives have tattoos. I don't see the attraction at all. I think tattoos that cannot covered by a short-sleeve shirt are silly, imprudent, and unattractive. Hot chicks with tattoos are less hot than hot chicks without tattoos.

Except, of course, for Kelly...

Why should I? I have no right to approve or disapprove. It's their body. They can do whatever they like to ornament it, whether hair, tattoos, piercings, fashion statements. I may not think it looks good but it's still not my decision.

If tattoos weren't associated with criminality and rebellion against the establishment most people wouldn't even get them, I reckon.

You mean like military service?

And aboriginal tattoos, and Irezumi--obviously there are some cultural reasons for tattoos as well, but I think in terms of the foot traffic in tattoo parlors we're talking about people paying to renovate their self image.

I have 9 tattoos and I got everyone of 'em just to piss off The Man! BeerBoy has more tattoos then me!

Yeah, but you're a gangsta. Nobody would really expect anything less from you.
