Great thread title. It reminds me of horror movies wih great titles, like "The Hound of the Baskervilles" or "Invasion of the Bodysnatchers."
 
I must have gotten the cave name wrong. or maybe they meant sw washington.
 
Wait a minute, I took the Mt. St. Helens tour and nobody told me there are apes living in caves there? Maybe they made it erupt, digging their tunnels underneath?
 
Used to go to the ape caves back in my school days. We'd crawl through the low part at the end to the little room and reef it out. Good times. Named ape caves due to bigfoot sightings back in the 1800's.

The spider was found in a cave in the Siskiyou mts in SW Oregon.
