Re: Does anyone have a vid of that pansy-ass bitch Garnett getting posterized by Outl
OK, either you're making a very poor attempt at twisting my words around, or you're retarded. Not sure which it is, yet.
Let this retard help you out. Here's what you said:
What KG does with this stuff is try to gain a competitive advantage (and the majority of times, he gets it). That is all. People can slobber all they want about how dirty and mean and classless he is, but the facts are that he does what he does to break the other team's spirit, while his own team's spirit. And there's nothing wrong with that.
Now it's your turn to help me out. If it is OK for KG to gain competitive advantage by doing this stuff, why shouldn't other players be allowed to do the same? For instance, with your logic, I assume that you wouldn't whine if Joel came in at the start of the game and smashed KG in the face a couple of times? After all, he would only be trying to gain a competitive advantage. Joel could even crawl around on the floor and talk trash, too, if that would help.
No lunchbox, elbows are not a good way to get a competitive advantage. They're a good way to rack up the fouls, though. KG's talking and intimidation is how he gets the competitive advantage.
So, you justify the 'stuff' he does as just trying to get a competitive advantage....now you say throwing elbows is not a good way to gain competitive advantage. So, why do you say that 90% of the league are cheap shot artists? Why do you say that nobody cared about cheap shots back in the day? (Btw, the cheap shots on LA resulted in a double T, not a foul.)
What the fuck are you talking about? Do you know what a strawman is?
I thought it was pretty clear that I am talking about KG being a no class asshole. What the fuck are you talking about?
As for your strawman comment, here's what you said,
Natebishop3
... Cheap shots, however, are uncool. They are dangerous and they are not part of the game. Putting an elbow in the back of a guys head is crossing the line.
Your reply,
I can't comment on that specifically because I completely missed the game, but I will say that cheap shots (or so they're called today) were pretty rampant back in the 80s, and no one cared. Kevin McHale horsecollared Kurt Rambis in mid-air, and got called for an ordinary foul.
My 'strawman' question has to do with the fact that you "can't comment" on the cheap shot aspect. All you had to do was look at the vids. Instead, you continued to rationalize/justify what KG did. That's WEAK!
Elbows are cheap shots. Which makes 90% of the league cheap-shot artists, I guess.
Ok, you're almost there. Let me help you finish....Elbows are cheap shots. Which makes 90% of the league cheap-shot artists,
therefore KG is a cheap shot artist. Now, doesn't it feel better to get that out there?
LOL. Accuse the other guy of taking the argument too seriously, to somehow help validate your own terrible argument. Sharp.
I don't take it too seriously, IMO. There are lots of assholes in the L, and lots of cheap shot artists. KG has just recently moved near the top of the list. It just bugs me that, since he's on the team you like, you want to brush it off as nothing.
On a different subject, Mods calling posters names when they disagree with their position is pretty childish. But, given that you are 18, I guess the shoe fits.
That does beg the question, though....wtf do you know about how hoops were played in the 80's?
