Dont know where to start...

First let me get this out of the way. I never meant to upset anyone on the Lucas comments I made a week ago tonight. It was more to point out how lousy they played but yes I guess it was bad taste on my part. Again it wasn't my intention to upset anyone.

Lol, sure. You don't have a history of doing anything like that at all.

That's all I have to say in this joke of a thread.

im not gonna argue about it. all i can say is sorry to the lucas fans and friends.

gorilla, lets not turn this into a bayno thread please.... lol

ya know I dont know but i was thinking about past benches and we were pretty deep last year

miller/blake
roy/rudy/bayless
batum/webster
la/howard/outlaw
oden/pryz

and 2 years ago

blake/sergio/bayless
roy/rudy
batum/outlaw
la/frye
oden/pryz

Miller/Johnson
Roy/Rudy
Batum/Matthews
Aldridge/Camby/Cunningham
Oden/Przybilla

who knows if we ever see that. thats a long ways away... and roy playing then is no lock.

We never saw the lineup you posted for last year so I don't see how you can say who knows if we'll ever see VG's lineup this year. Batum never played with Oden or Pryz, Blake was a starter for the 1st 25 games, Outlaw got hurt 11 games in and never played again, Rudy was out or played hurt almost half the year with an injured back, plus all the nagging injuries to Roy.

This team won games with starting lineups of Miller/Bayless/Webster/Aldridge/Howard or Miller/Roy/Webster/Pendy/Howard last year with no depth outside of Blake and Cunningham. I'd take what we've got now over those lineups any day.

oh man... i miss that blake and webster shooting. we badly need that right now.

I miss the "Outlaw running around like a chicken without his head" play from our bench! No hustle - no scoring - no chicken. NOTE: Camby has been a great addition, so I'm not looking in my rear view mirror about trading Outlaw, but this bench is a non-factor.

Welcome back Mix.

Sorry about your Bills, but hey look on the bright side, they may suck balls, but at least they play hard and that's more than the Cowboys can say.

Welcome back. Hopefully we can start fresh and leave the drama behind.

the bills.... painful just painful. if you ever want to see the worst scenario you can think of in a football game happen over and over each week in crunch time.... watch a bills game.

Damn it Im pissed... i just lost out on a weekly $100 pool we do in fantasy football for the high scorer. All i needed was 100 yards out of medenhall and he finished at 99! Even 1 more catch from Owens would have done it. VERY ANNOYED!!!

Anyhow just some thoughts on the Blazers. As much as Im concerned with roy and the bench (as i posted last monday) I have to cut them some slack here. I cannot believe nobody is factoring in their brutal schedule. I mean think about the road trips and amount of games in less then 2 weeks. Its almost cruel. Now they should have obviously won the OKC game but other then that (record wise) you really cant be too upset. However a loss to Detroit nulls my comment there. Thats a must win IMO with the upcoming week and schedule. Gotta be 6-3 on wed morning.

I have said since opening night Roy looks old and slow. I think his knee is shot and will need micro fracture at some point. Im not saying even this year but he will down the road. As for now, I think its a bit of everything for him. He hates Miller as PG, his knee isn't even 90% and he's pacing himself for (hopefully) post season play. His comments and play are almost depressing if im being honest.

I turned the laker off in 3rd qtr. That was worse then the bulls effort.

Last i will say again.... the bench is dreadful. Matthews cant shoot the 3, johnson seems lost, and Rudy is so hit or miss that its a coin toss. The depth is gone here.
As I said in the off season... we need a crawford type off the bench. A big time scorer. We simply don't have a major offensive weapon off the bench. This is why I wonder how we will beat teams like GS and others who just score, score, score! Very concerning issue.

In closing, I think if Roy or LA go down... my non playoff season is a guarantee. Im getting the feeling that we very well could be hornets of last year. Slow start and coach gets fired... and maybe roy goes down. It certainly seems to be setting up that way. For those who aren't concerned.... you will be soon enough.

I think this is the best post you've ever written. Not a high bar, but you made some really solid points. Glad to see some humility and measured analysis in your post. Good stuff and repped. Keep up the good work of being reasonable. I don't expect it to last, but we can dream can't we?

Running with your idea of Roy going down...If Roy were to go down, then Oden's come back would take on a whole new flavor. We'd be dependent on him for a lot of our scoring by mid-season and it could really cause him to blossom. Trying to make some lemonade here. Obviously I would prefer health and meshing of Oden and Roy.

i think this season has gone from making round 2 to hoping for 8th seed. dark things on the herizon i see

Spiraling back into doomsaying territory...didn't take too long.
