Saudi Arabia is their new home.

That's 1,800 new troops. My understanding is the 50 troops in Syria will remain in Syria albeit in another part of Syria.

So in the news today, Turkey bombed US forces by accident, and ISIS prisoners have started to escape.

Things are really going well so far!

whoa, wait a minute. trump announced that he is putting sanctions on Turkey. Well, not really, he just said he was going to put sanctions on Turkey, but no timeline as to when that might (never) happen. Mr. tough guy talks a big game, but walks like a wimp. Must be those nasty bone spurs acting up again.

Literally true. But I meant Saudi Arabia is the new home for troops generally.

He's got a small stick.

Well Trump has declared he doesn't need a warroom...he'll handle it himself. It's the way he does business....he follows his first instinct...then his second....then his third....then the polls...then all over again.

Honestly and seriously, when I hear " my great and unmatched wisdom" I think either it's a Saturday Night Live skit or a person completely unhinged.
No normal person says that about themselves

If these kids were true patriots they would fight to fix their shit hole country instead of surrendering.

Here's the thing, and I'm being serious. We always hear about these kinds of situations, but as Americans, we do shit about it.

Remember this kid?

Long forgotten. We're gonna see much more of these, but sadly, nothing changes. And in this case, we're (the US) making it worse.

What do you want to do?

Well you seem to expect something.
Right now it seems we would need to go against a Nato ally to stop their shit. What do you want to have Nancy and her gang to authorize?

I meant that we as Americans tend to get riled up about something, and then don't do anything about it. We have short attention spans. The 'US' makes it 'worse' thing is how we stick our noses in other nations business, and back out all the time. this isn't the first time we've supported a group only to change our mind.

It seems to me we completed the mission of defeating ISIS. A common enemy of the Kurds and US. Now they have a fight, against our NATO ally.
I never really thought the Turks were allies, but formally they are. So I don't think we have changed our minds.
I suppose Congress could authorizate change though, if they wanted. Perhaps we could even convince NATO, with full congressional support.

I’m not sure how we can say we’ve “defeated ISIS”. Like they are all gone. They packed their bags and went home and just gave up. Maybe they turned all their guns in while they are at it, will go get jobs at the local Starbucks and raise beautiful kids. I mean, we defeated them. They are done. Right.

Except, THE DEEP STATE HIJACKED U.S. foreign policy TO create the problem. Just like in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, etc. Why do people ignore facts? The Middle East has been destroyed by U.S. foreign policy for decades.

POTUS Trump promised to get us out and leave the ME alone, as they wish. A win-win for all.

He is cleaning house of war-mongerers in our government who have used our military for profit. He brought home half of our soldiers in Syria last year, and is now gradually removing the rest as promised. People really need to support him in this. It's a rare moment in history, certainly the first in my lifetime, where we had a President who truly believes the US does not have to be the world's policeman.

Nobody abandoned the Kurds, they've known for a year we were leaving. They are communist terrorists who Obama found useful. I don't want to finance and back their murderous acts.
