Up 600 ain't saying much. Probably just a minor correction. Let's see what happens in the next 6 trading days....aaaaaand back up again.
I think the dow ended up being up 1100 but I may have read that wrong earlier.Up 600 ain't saying much. Probably just a minor correction. Let's see what happens in the next 6 trading days.
I dunno, I recently woke up from a nap after my rough day surviving dialysis. My arm is all black and blue from where my nurse erred in inserting the large gauge needles.I think the dow ended up being up 1100 but I may have read that wrong earlier.
...aaaaaand back up again.
...after losing nearly 6000 points recently, an uptick of 600 isn't exactly a recovery.
Currently down over 1600 points (6.45% drop). Where is @BlazerWookee now?
You do know that this is all the Dems fault, right?

Once again the average american is going to get fucked!
Burn it all down!
Right?

There are a few things one needs to look at:
1. Stock market
2. Crypto
3. Metals
4. Jobs
5. Housing
6. Banking sector
There will likely be some sort of stimulus, whether it be consumer protection for sick leave, mortgage/rent relief, quantitative easing, etc. I'm guessing its going to be a round of QE again followed by some bailouts for certain sectors (airline, cruise, banks). Once again the average american is going to get fucked!
I'm just talking out of my ass but I feel that housing will be the last to go this time. Metals will maintain or rise. Crypto will tank with the market. Banking and jobs will be ok for a while.
Corona is a bigger threat to Trumps presidency than Biden or Sanders, he will pull all the strings but it probably won't be enough. He has had an easy run so far. This whole issue will also highlight our medical and paid time off problems in the country.
I think if anyone would bother to check Hillary's basement, you'd find a lab churning out the Covid-19 coronavirus in overdrive mode. You do know that this is all the Dems fault, right?

Response to a whole lot more than that such as what people can see is happening in China, S. Korea and Italy. People can see the writing on the wall. No amount of quarantine is going to work for long at this point. The world is simply too interconnected.Response to the WHO declaring a pandemic

Our dumb shit President should have heeded advice from the experts and increased the budget of the CDC and NIH rather than trying to dramatically decrease it. We should have or nearly have a vaccine by now rather than a year and a half from now. For God's sake, the infection isn't slated to peak for a little over a year from now in January. With a transmission rate R0 ('R' nought) of 2.2 compared to 1.2 for the common flu, and a death rate of about 3% for the Covid-19 coronavirus compared to 0.1% for the common flu, we can expect to see some serious consequences during that peak period.
Dumb shit Trump is killing people now and going to kill lots of people in the fucking future.
Edit:
ps masks are essentially useless unless you get exactly the right kind and they must be professionally fitted to your face as well as replaced at least daily. Upshot, masks are no good for you and me. Wash your hands and avoid large crowds and people who cough and otherwise exhibit symptons.
I just recently learned that there's never been a known case of disease transmission via a church Communion cup of wine. Each sip is wiped between users and the cup is thoroughly washed before each session. Last time, I declined the cup. Next time I will resume my normal use. Besides, my church uses really good wine in their goblet.
Once again, nope.Nope. This was reaction to the WHO classification of a pandemic.
Once again, nope.
Now, you've made an assertion that you need to back up else it's just so much hot air.
What does Trump have to do with this. You appear to have Trump derangement syndrome derangement syndrome.https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/03/11/markets-economy-today-oil-coronavirus/
What do you have other than "Orange man bad"
