Draft Jimmer Fredette?

Another PG I think we should take a serious look at is Nolan Smith.

He's extremely heady, has great size and is a great defender. Didn't really play PG exclusively until this year and he's doing an outstanding job of it. He might be the first ACC player ever to lead the conference in points and assists.

Yep--he's the other realistic PG target for this year's draft class that I like. Seems like a high BBIQ guy--a perfect player to (perhaps) learn from Miller for a year before taking the reigns.

I know this thread has gone off-topic (as far as Jimmer) over the course of its creation to now. But I just can't help but note that since the first day I saw this thread and looked at Jimmer's projection, and most Mock Draft sites had him mid-second round. Today I looked and he's almost cracked the top-10 lottery group on some sites. Talk about a crazy advancement.

He's almost move up to the point where the Blazers can't easily obtain him any longer since this thread was started. LOL.
