But Zach Collins won't follow anyone off a cliff nor scratch all the toilet paper off the roll. He's not that type of guy.A lemming and a kitty are animals too.
My predictions:
We will not keep all our picks
A lot of us will be very mad/puzzled/disappointed by the end.
However, by the time of Summer League we will be excited again.
Then, after Summer League, we'll be disappointed again.
Well, we're all playing for second now.
If only I had confidence the same is true of our front office. The more time I spend studying this draft I'm just making my answer less wrong.
Disagree on Leaf. He's an awful defender. My predictions!
Trading up: Zach Collins
Keeping picks:
15: Harry Giles
20: TJ Leaf
26: Isaiah Hartenstein
If we keep all three I can pretty much guarantee that one will be a draft-n-stash if we don't waive a few players.
Leaf IMO would be the BPA if he's still available at #20. I'm basing these on current stocks - otherwise I'd have Jordan Bell at #20.
Harry Giles is based on upside and the rumor that Neil & co. love him.
Hartenstein is a long-term project but he's a quick leaper and has elite size for a PF - just turned 19 and 7'1.25" (w/shoes) he could very well top out at 7'2".
Someone can be more aggressive than sheed?Trade up = Zach Collins. I was all aboard the Zach Collins train before he became the board favorite. He's an animal....he looks to me like the kind of player Rasheed Wallace could have been if he were more aggressive.
Stand pat:
15. Bam Adebayo
20. Anzejs Pasecniks
26. Jordan Bell
Blazers need for a backup for Nurk, and toughness up front. Bam has great potential as a defensive center, he reminds me of Andre Drummond.. Anzejs would be a good prospect for Nurk to take under his wing. Bell would replace Ed Davis, and be a great energy guy off the bench.
We're trading our draft picks and Lillard to the Lakers for the #2 to draft Ball. Thise will save us from our cap troubles and the Big Baller Brand will help us attract free agents.
And we'll make Ball's dad our assistant GM.
Win-win-win!
I feel this is pretty close to accurate, good call sir.Blazers work hard in trades, but cannot get any done. So NO goes for undervalued players or ones that slip. Go big or go home.
15: Giles
20: OG
26: Bell
Marvin Williams would be another guy I could see being obtained that wayHere's another scenario; Olshey trades a pick for a veteran, not necessarily a star, but maybe another plumlee like deal. Someone that can come in and be counted on. Any predictions of possible targets? I'll go with Dieng in minny, especially if they draft Markkanen.
What was UCD's prize for winning the season-long numbers game, anyway? Was it as cool as a Dame dig ball?
Your mom.
Ouch
And no, not that I know of.

Ummm......bragging rights two years running is no small beer on this forum. The worship of my intellect is worth more than any prize......There was a whole discussion on it. But the prize wasn't from the S2 locker.
