I'd rather have Nicholson than Moultrie if were looking for hybrid 4's.

My only reasoning is that I think Moultrie has a chance to be a steal, where as Nicholson would be the more safe pick and probably be productive regardless

It will be interesting to see how the vote goes on Ed's draft when it gets down to Drummond v. Lillard. Unless something odd happens it looks like that will be Portland's choice.

Here is Andre Drummond's workout for the Kings. Looks like he changed his shot some. Although it's not up real high yet it seems higher and not quite as far away from his body.

OK I am officially excited about each of the top 6 picks.

Wow, looks like he has worked on his shot. Looks like he has better touch than Oden. I don't see any reason he shouldn't be a better FT shooter with a bit of work.

After watching that, I'm leaning toward Drummond over Lillard--who I like a lot.

Ya, at this point any of Davis, Robinson, MKG, Beal, Barnes, Drummond or Lillard would be great

Picking Lillard in the top-6 makes me nervous.

He's not the BPA when we pick IMO.

-Davis
-Robinson
-Beal
-MKG
-Drummond
-Barnes

Drummond or Barnes, both better prospects than Lillard, will be there at #6.

It's hard to get a read on Lillard; he was very efficient but did it against inferior competition.

Looking at his advanced numbers his stats are eerily close to another small-time college gunner: Norris Cole

DL: 34.0 PER | NC: 30.0 PER
DL: 63 TS% | NC: 56 TS%
DL: 33.0 USG% | NC: 32.1 USG%
DL: 7.3 WS | NC: 7.2 WS
DL: 24.5 PPG | NC: 21.7 PPG

I'd opt for Waiters before Lillard and our first pick is high for either IMO.

I would hope Drummond would fall to six and maybe trade up for Lillard, using the sixth pick for Lillard has me really nervous as well. If you're going to strike out, it may as well be for a big time center prospect with all star potential.

Damn Drummond looks great in those videos. I'm pretty excited to see who we get at #6, should be a great talent.

Its crazy how many of us are viewing the 11th like its an end of the 1st round throw in. Normally the Blazers don't pick that high and we would be extremely excited to only have that choice in this super deep draft. Because we happen to have the #6 and potential cap room this year its easy to overlook the value of the 11.

Imagine if NJ had moved up into the top 3 and we only had the 11th pick!

It's just a workout

But that video alone makes me think he'll be better than DeAndre Jordan

I can't figure out who will be the guy to fall to us. I doubt it will be Drummond. Right now I am thinking MKG.

He seems like the least talked about right now, but I suppose there is still 2 weeks to go.

The dominos will fall with Washington...

They could go either way: Beal or MKG

MKG, yeah I could see that. If Paul Pierce and Caron Butler can slide to the 10th pick then MKG could easily be there at 6.

Didn't the Nets say there were only 3 players they wanted in this draft back in March? I wonder who they were.

Hoopshype lead headline right now is Drummond moving up to #2. I actually can see Jordan doing this. This would move Robinson down a spot to Washington. Or does Washington go with Beal or MGK like you suggest? Cleveland likes Barnes, so maybe Robinson slips. Is Robinson working out for Sac? Maybe Robinson slips to us after all.........

I heard today that after picking Kwame Brown MJ could be hesitant to pick another project big

Who knows. Just speculation, but I can kind of see it I guess?

Cho seems like a GM who wants to undertake a slow quality rebuild. Having a project like Drummond could keep them in the best lottery spots for years and acquire some other stud picks. Maybe he can talk Jordan into patiently sticking with that type of plan.

I'd be ecstatic with Robinson at #6.

I think he's a lock to go #2 or #3 but a Robinson/Waiters draft would be the best draft we've had since '06.

I really hope we don't take Lillard at #6. Yes he has talent, but is he a PG or a tiny SG? Seems like he will need the ball in his hands to be effective. I question if he can ever learn the point, can he setup the offense? Can he direct LaMarcus and Batum or does he just want to be like Crawchuck and call his own number. The other top6 prospects have great size. Someone like Barnes could be productive with a similar wing player, he is versatile. But Lillard doesn't have the size to play along with another PG. There are many good free agent PG, I don't think this position is as scarce as it was a decade ago.

At 22, how many scoring guards really develop into legit PG's?

not very many....

I actually think Barnes is the 3rd or 4th best player in the entire draft....

I can't find a schedule but the Blazers are brining in MKG this week, right?
