OT Draymond Green arrested

"It was basically an altercation between two guys," police said. "There's no injuries. He was released with a $200 bond on Sunday."

Green is scheduled for arraignment on July 20. If convicted, he would face a maximum of 93 days in jail and a $500 fine.

In a statement, the Warriors said they are "aware of news" involving Green.

"At this point, we are collecting information and will have no further comment until we have a better understanding of the situation," the team said.

In 10 days, Green will have multiple witnesses that argue it was all the other guys fault and Green was an innocent victim only defending himself.

I doubt if it will even get that far. Green will payoff the victim and the charges will be dropped. If the guy was drunk and provoked Green, it will probably be nothing more than an autographed jersey or pair of shoes.

And then, our upstanding fellow citizen will get to proudly represent our country in the Olympics.
