No. Timelord is untouchable.
Hopefully this is a joke because Timelord is very touchable and if you touch those knees too many times they break. Get him to a win now team that he makes sense with given his injury history... whoever the highest bidder is.

I'd do it. Then I'd try to flip DLo and Vando to the Bucks for Middleton and the Bucks 2031 FRP. Get three FRPs out of that deal and we're pretty golden. We'd still want to find a home for Ant, maybe even Deandre and explore what we could get by flipping Middleton, even if you have to attach one of the three picks to get good young value back.

Those two picks are seconds given the trajectory of their team, don’t get it twisted.

Vanderbilt's contract sucks; counting this season, 4 years left on it. And I think this trade would put the Blazers over the tax line; if so Seattle would veto it

the worst part of the trade is that it leaves the two players who need to go, Simons & Ayton, on the roster. Blazers should put their energy into dumping those two empty-stat dead weights

I think you start with ant and tisse and go from there.

ayton's deal as an expiring would look wildly better.

Cannot allow protections on those picks and then let them roll over to 2nds if not conveyed after one year, that's the type of 'looks great in a headline but sucks in real life' type of trades.

Gotta think Boston would love to have him back, given their aging/aching Center rotation, especially now that he's a 50% 3pt shooter (!) and fits the new shape of their offense. Lots of future pick swaps could be enticing, depending on what they have available.

They still owe us a big favor for Jrue in exchange for two perpetually injured guys. Banton was probably a partial return on that favor, but I believe that saved them luxury bills, so that doesn't count.

I'd think Boston has enough concerns with center injuries with Porzingis, so no I don't think theres any way they would want to re-acquire him. Also they are a 2nd apron team so literally cannot trade for Timelord salary unless they trade away one of their players earning more. The only higher salaries they have are starters, Tatum Brown White Holiday Porzingis. So no, zero chance he goes to Boston.

I'd think Timelord is probably the most likely to be traded if he stays healthy though, a nice blend of an inexpensive contract, can fit with any team, and elite play. The only concern is his health, and if he is healthy until the deadline that becomes a risk worth taking for a contender. A highly protected pick sort of like the Josh Hart trade would make sense for both teams.

I guess the way a Celtics trade could happen is if Porzingis became injured for the entire season. Maybe we could get a protected pick, save them tax, and give them a couple role players or something

Salary matching (and tax stuff) is obviously an issue, but Porzingis' health is exactly the reason they would want RWIII back. Two oft-injured guys and an ancient guy gives them decent odds of one or two being available at all times. They need someone to fill in as-needed at a high level, but not demand minutes when both Porzingis and Horford are rolling. RWIII fits that bill perfectly.
