Saw a gut wearing a Bernie 16 pin on his shirt this AM. I said you're for Bernie, what did you think of his statement "if your white you know nothing about being poor or livening in a ghetto"? The man said we;; Bernie is a man of peace, all the others are warmongers. I said well that's fine, but like Bernie my dad was a born and raised Vermonter and his family was poor, made a few trips to Bellows Falls myself and noticed quite a few poor white folks so what do you think about that. "Well Bernie is out to get the Warmongers yada yada,blah blah. He then asked me who I was for, named some candidates I liked, and he said they were all warmongers who wanted to keep the system going. I gave him the Merle Haggard line" when a president goes through the White House Door, does what he say he'll do, We'll all be drinking that free bubble up and eating that rainbow stew" ! on that he terminated the conversation, but never answered my question!!

I thought the question fair to a Bernie supporter, was not trying to be a smartass. I guess I was wondering how anyone could lend support to his view point.
