I raise you Julia Valduriez:
I'm being 100% serious, HomerLovesKoolaid is better than all of them. He's one of the top drummers on the west coast.

I knew before I clicked the second video would be a Dream Theater song. If you're a modern drummer it's a rite of passage to stay awake until 6:00 on a Christmas morning, take the time to practice, until it's only a matter of time before you master one of their songs.
Is he a girl?
Yeah, I'm the guy on the right.
Yeah, I'm the guy on the right.
Agreed. Well put.
So Homer. If you don't mind me asking.
As someone that knows what he's looking at/hearing, how would you rate the young lady compared to other kids you've seen that are serious about drums?
Go Blazers
I think what we're hearing is mainly the track she is playing to, but it seems like she is enjoying it. Some typical time/technique issues for a teenager but she obviously has done some homework so it's very cool.
Compared to other kids that age? Hard to do just because of so many styles. There are kids that sound way more mature because they play styles that are 'groove music' (funk, blues, etc) and have better hands from more rudimental experience, and guys with incredible musical backgrounds at a young age like Tony Williams playing with Miles Davis at age 15. It boils down to taste of course, but she is really doing well.
How about Animal from the Muppets, good drummer or the greatest drummer?
