That's somewhat right. A player who is drawn to uniforms and Nintendos in locker rooms might not have his head in the game. Of all the things a player SHOULD be thinking of when he signs a letter of intent (eg coaching staff, history, success in the pros, team atmosphere, god forbid academics, etc.), uniforms are way down on the list and should be pure fluff. I would, in fact, rather have a lower ranked smash mouth style player who has a chip on his shoulder and has something to prove than a player who goes to UO primarily because they want to wear a particularly colored or winged outfit.
To be clear, not all Duck players are drawn to UO because of the uniforms. They consider other things on that list that are more important and make a decision for the right reasons (even if going to UO really should ALWAYS be considered a huge mistake -- KIDDING, well kind of). If a player picks UO based primarily on UO outfits, then yeah, they probably are a headcase worth avoiding.
