Crazy....they didn't even play like a team that deserved a ranking. Finished the season losing 2 in a row to shitty teams. Then the get a free pass to the pac 12 title game and win it.

Not sure they got a free pass. They have not lost a home game in two years. Not their fault that UW's one road game of the season was canceled. The Ducks would have beat UW.

I think Uncle Phil should reward the Ducks and put a dome over Autzen.

Mario, Again, shows why he's the right guy to take Oregon to epic heights going forward. FU Auburn, and all those other SEC programs that steal away top coaches. Oregon is coming, be very afraid.

Here is a really stupid column claiming Oregon didn't deserve to be in the title game and I guess saying they should have just declared USC champions and not play the game. What??!! Oregon proved they belonged in the game by winning the damn thing, and it was smart to have them in the game since they are the most popular Pac-12 team nationally.https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...egon-beats-usc-title-game-bungled/3971511001/

there's a lot of ignorant assholes out there.

he said Oregon didn't "deserve" to be in the game but Washington did and got spiked by Covid. The Huskies didn't have a single road game this year (Oregon had 3). The Huskies only beat 1 North Division opponent and were 1-1 in the division. The Ducks were 2-2. So, both teams had .500 records in the division, except at least Oregon played 4 division opponents. The game the Huskies dodged was the game in Eugene. So they were only going to be in the championship game because of that dodge.

the rules for the season were known by every single team before the season started. Nobody was operating blindly

finally, that asshole made the argument that contrary to all the conference rules, Colorado should have been in the game. But, if anything, Oregon proved that the team that didn't deserve to be there, using that idiot's logic, was USC

I see. He was the senior transfer from Boston college; I guess he looked about the same as Shough in practice so that thought it was better to play the sophomore. Hope they have somebody who will challenge Shough next year.
Next year they'll have two of their highest ranked QB prospects trying to wrestle the job away from TS (recruiting links below). Hopefully they'll have a full camp to get everyone a chance to shine.

Yup. Shough isn’t that good imo. Not at the level Oregon needs atleast. He’d be fine at OSU or something.

The 5 star kid Ty Thompson that’s coming next year seems to have a lot of hype. Word is he’s going to be really good.

fun fact: the Duck are 4-0 in Pac-12 championship games. In those 4 games, the Ducks never trailed. In the last 3 games, the Duck have led 30-0; 20-0; and 14-0

Oregon led for 225 of 240 minutes of the 4 P12 Championshipthe games they've played in. In comparison, the other 8 teams to play in the P12 Championship game in 16 appearances, combine to lead for 255 minutes of game play.

Oregon has led by 14+ points for 133 minutes in those games; the other 8 teams (16 appearances) have led by 14+ points for a combined 76 minutes.

Oregon has not only won these games, they've dominated like nobody else in the conference.
