Our offense played good defense on that fumble. Let's have everyone switch sides and try that.

lol the doom and gloom of game threads is the same in this section too?

I'm watching the game.

The ball was dislodged and then either Taylor or Thomas hit the ball forward (relative to Thomas, who was facing to his right relative to the line of scrimmage) from what I can tell. The ref agreed.

You can see Thomas's arm go through the forward motion without the ball. He did not have the ball when his arm was going forward.

Ok. Don't want to argue about this forever, but no one batted the ball...watch the replay again. And what you're suggesting doesn't even make sense. The defender grabbed Thomas wrist, and was falling to the ground, how could he have batted it forward? How could Thomas bat if forward if he dropped the ball??

The refs did not mention anything about any "batted balls".

Seems like whoever has the ball last will win this game.

Okay, dancing to "Jump Around" at the beginning of the 4th quarter is kind of an awesome tradition.

I already announced we're going to win so what more is there to say?

Taylor could hit it with any part of his body. That he was falling down does not preclude his momentum from carrying him forward to strike the ball.

And if you're asking how Thomas could have had the ball dislodged and then batted it forward... I don't know what to tell you except to watch volleyball some time. Or soccer. They manage to move the ball all over the place without throwing it.

They didn't? Well, shoot. If they didn't say it then it must not have happened. They also didn't mention bigfoot... where was he on the play?

What they DID say was that it wasn't an incomplete pass.

Must have been bigfoot, though, rather than a ball hit by a player, since they didn't mention that it was hit.

Also: TD, Ducks! Woo!

No more turnovers! Ducks can take control with a TD here! Tuinei is having the best game I've ever seen from him.

Huff is seeing 3 footballs because of that hit earlier.

#CatchTheOneInTheMiddle!
