Ducks vs Cougs game thread

I get the feeling depth finally took its toll. WSU just isn't as crisp as they were earlier, while the Ducks got stronger.

Very nice asset to have!

I don't wanna be the drunk old guy stuck paying $20 grand for that.

So how much are we gonna suck next year with Lockie as our QB?

Let's see which recruits come first. Ducks should be a prime choice for top qb's when MM leaves

5 games to go - and all 5 teams currently have winning records. It amazes me how many people still think the Pac 12 schedule is somehow easier than other top conferences.

On a related note, Mannion having another strong game and OSU is starting to look like a team to worry about.

If Mariota goes pro now, he will have an Akili Smith caliber career. Great talent - but surviving in the NFL requires more than physical talent. For both his sake and ours I hope he is smart enough to hang in for at least one more season.

I disagree, but okay.

550 yards and 38 points allowed. Even taking into account the 3 lost fumbles, the defense did not have a great game.

I did the math in another thread, and if you exclude the 4th quarter and the points that were scored off turnovers from the offense, the starting defense only gave up 14 points. That's not bad at all.

I get why Nick is mad, but I think it's a good thing that Wazzu left their starters in. That gives our backups experience against a starting unit. This happens in virtually every blowout we've had this year. We clear the bench, and the other team leaves their starters in to make the score look less lopsided. I can't think of a game off the top of my head that didn't have at least one or two touchdowns for the other team in the 4th quarter.

I think Nick is chapped because of the WSU QB breaking that attempt record.
