Brother, trans people are routinely one of, if not the highest group dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts.Yeah, I guess. They are just women after all. Who cares if they get depressed?
So I voted for Kamala. I voted for Biden. You don't need to talk to me like I'm some kind of a Trump supporter.Brother, trans people are routinely one of, if not the highest group dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts.
Again, nobody is saying it can't be a conversation. Hoping for a good solution for all sides.
But if all this tips the scales for a voter issue in comparison to people being unalived and kidnapped, I don't know what to tell you.
I'm not talking to you in anyway. I don't care who you voted for. That wouldn't change my response. So I voted for Kamala. I voted for Biden. You don't need to talk to me like I'm some kind of a Trump supporter.
The more trans people who win women's divisions The more people you will have not liking trans people.
I'm telling you this doesn't end well for anybody. Not having a division for people who were assigned female at birth Will be used as an incredibly effective wedge issue.
We can try to imagine a world where that's not the case, But that's not the world we live in. That's never going to be the world we live in.
I care about the well-being of the most people possible.I'm not talking to you in anyway. I don't care who you voted for. That wouldn't change my response.
What do you think I mean when I say there can be a conversation about it? Do you not care about the well being of Trans people? I care about the well being of both Trans people and cis people. There may not be a perfect situation for this to appease all sides.
It is being used as a wedge issue currently. So much so that it completely floors me that people are saying this is a deciding factor for them while people are unalived and kidnapped.
Over an issue that is less than 10 athletes, which I believe includes transmen and transwomen, out of 500,000 college athletes.
please enlighten us with the sad tales of Canadian women's power lifting
How do you plan for the league to investigate if someone is AFAB?I care about the well-being of the most people possible.
Setting back women's sports (the way Ann Andres has been allowed to dominate Canadian women's power lifting) would hurt far more people than allowing individual sports and leagues to determine if they have AFAB only divisions.
My contention is that it will result in harm to far more trans people to greatly restrict that.
Birth certificate. Most people have one. Pretty much everybody can get one.How do you plan for the league to investigate if someone is AFAB?
Has she done anything in the last like 2 years? A 2 year old YouTube video was brought to your attention? Seems like a real big issue for themSetting back women's sports (the way Ann Andres has been allowed to dominate Canadian women's power lifting) w
It was brought to my attention two years ago. I don't spend a ton of time reading up on it.Has she done anything in the last like 2 years? A 2 year old YouTube video was brought to your attention? Seems like a real big issue for them
What about people that falsify that? How far do you suggest they go to prove someone was AFAB?Birth certificate. Most people have one. Pretty much everybody can get one.
Problem solved.
And I believe that is 99.95% accurate. Far more accurate than any other means we've used verify.
Saying someone set back a sport is easy to say. Where is the proof that Canadian power lifting is being set back? I assume that can be backed up with numbers that participation is lower.I care about the well-being of the most people possible.

If they falsify it and that is ever proven they would lose their title and any records. That's what's done in all divisions. What about people that falsify that? How far do you suggest they go to prove someone was AFAB?
If you didn’t spend much time reading up on it how can you say she set the sport back?It was brought to my attention two years ago. I don't spend a ton of time reading up on it.
But nobody who was assigned female at birth will most Canadian women's powerlifting records.
They'll be held by a trans woman and or literal bearded biological man.
My point is I don't think people will be persuaded to not falsify the birth certificates. Then you are back where you are now. Those athletes may get their records nullified anyway if the crowd screaming the loudest about this get their way.If they falsify it and that is ever proven they would lose their title amd any records. This is not a new problem. Sports have dealt with this for as long as there's been sports.
Okay and you clearly hate women. It's cool that the power lifting records of Canada are such a concern for you that you want to stop kids from feeling accepted
I've been fine with the way things have been.My point is I don't think people will be persuaded to not falsify the birth certificates. Then you are back where you are now. Those athletes may get their records nullified anyway if the crowd screaming the loudest about this get their way.
I didn't make any specific claims. It's my opinion.Saying someone set back a sport is easy to say. Where is the proof that Canadian power lifting is being set back? I assume that can be backed up with numbers that participation is lower.
I’m looking at this website https://www.powerlifting.ca/national-records
And finding tons of records broken since Ann Andres competed in 2023. I am pretty illiterate when it comes to power lifting so I could be missing something.
But again, it’s easy to say someone has set a sport back. When you make a claim like that, I expect proof. Especially coming from you, who usually backs up their claims with evidence and asks others too as well.
Am I advocating for stopping women from being able to do something? No. So it's not the same at all. Cute though.Okay and you clearly hate women.
See? I can do that too.
You're advocating for ruining women's sports. clearly.Am I advocating for stopping women from being able to do something? No. So it's not the same at all. Cute though.
Ruining women's sports. Ok. They're seriously talking points out of the MAGA playback. Have fun with thatYou're advocating for ruining women's sports. clearly.
If you weren't going to engage in honest conversation then I don't have to either.

This you?I didn't make any specific claims. It's my opinion.
If you want all women's sports dealing with that then I guess that's what you want.
I don't. I don't think it's good for anybody.
See Canadian women's powerlifting. Nobody's getting hurt. But it's completely destroyed any semblance of competition in the sport.
It's become a joke. A mockery.
They had a bearded biological man who had no procedures or treatments and simply signed up saying he was a female (He was an Olympic powerlifting coach) breaking records in women's power lifting. Those records are standing in the record books (Or were last time I checked). This you?
Show me proof that it has destroyed any semblance of competition in the sport.
You make the claim that the sport is destroyed and set back, you provide the proof. That is the way you have been posting in the OT section for years, is it not?
Clearly.I don't know what is.
