So would a 1 year old Samsung LCD1080 already "upconvert" (whatever the hell that is) a DVD being played on a normal DVD player? Or do you need a DVD or BluRay player that says it does that for you?

Help is appreciated:cheers:

The TV will only display the signal it's receiving, meaning you will need an upconverting DVD/Blu-ray player. That said, you can pick up an upconverting DVD player for ~$50 nowadays.

I bought a Blu Ray player brand new for 80 :ghoti:

or did you just get good deals on stuff you wouldnt have bought had you not found it there :devilwink: :sigh:
Haha I only have bought LED flashlights for the sole reason of them being a good deal. Although I will say it has caused me to make some purchases sooner than I had been planning.
