In the west, what other PF's are there?

In the PNW division:

OKC: no one all star worthy
Den: see above
Minn: Love isn't having an all star year
Utah: see above

Midwest:
Spurs: Duncan
Mavs: dirk (hasn't earned it yet)
Rockets: not sure? I think they have someone. Not being smart
Grizz: Zach (Gasol also)
New Orleans: yeah, not sure

pacific:
Lakers: none
Clippers: he'll be the starter, and due to their record too
Kings: cousins(?). Not sure he'll make it
Warriors: David Lee
Suns: none


So, the PFs he'll realistically have to battle is Lee and Zach. Maybe Marc Gasol.

Not sure that Dwight is right, although not saying LaMarcus is a sure thing though

Remember, this year there are "backcourt" and "Frontcourt", not PFs and Cs.

the "frontcourt" players in front of him are Durant, Howard (vote), Griffin as starters. Duncan's a lock. Mark Gasol is a lock. Z-bo's a bit behind LMA on stats, but may make it on coaches' vote (or may not b/c of Gasol). That's 6. Figure 7 frontcourt players, 5 backcourt players and 3 at-large. LMA's got a decent shot.

Is Jaynes even writing about the NBA anymore other than his blog that I haven't seen in months?

LMA will be an All-Star if he keeps up his current play. He's one of 4 players in the entire league averaging 20/8, and he is on a team that currently would be in the playoffs.

Because he is playing first team all defense and contributes offensively.

I think LMA makes it though. Dirk and Love will not make it.

I think Serge Ibaka may have a good chance because he's a big contributor on a championship caliber team also the worriers are playing really well they have a winning record and David Lee is a big reason why. ZBo is in the same boat as David Lee, Then you have Duncan and Gasol oh and don't forget about Dwight Howard. How many bigs do you need? Jaynes maybe right on this one.

The warriors are going to get an all-star and I just assume its Curry over Lee because of how much media attention Curry is getting. Parker does have tenure, a better record and is a multi all-star but I just don't see him getting into the AS game this year.

it's hardly unprecedented for a good team to not have an all-star due to factors other than team record.

also lee is having a better year than curry and individual coaches who do happen to be looking to reward the warriors will look at his prospects first.

lee would get in over LMA before curry bumps parker
