Hey, look at that - that place was full once again. Who cares if they offered up half-price tickets to previous mailing list customers? Has anyone been watching the NBA this season? The Indiana-Denver game tonight drew less than half capacity in a basketball crazy city. Miami isn't selling out with the Big 3. Portland still is in a small market.

Indiana might have a passion for high school and college, but have always been bandwagoners for the Pacers. Even with the run we had with Reggie they had a hard time selling out. While the Blazers have done a good job distancing themselves from the "Jail Blazer" era, the Pacers have not learned. They had one player this offseason served with a suspension for pot. Another is still awaiting trial for allegedly throwing his baby momma down a flight of stairs. More importantly, no one believes the team is one of the elite squads.
