Well I was playing the first game of the season in my franchise mode and I had just kicked the game winning field goal to beat the Redskins. I go to "end game" and the loading menu comes up. Then the whole game freezes and I get a blank screen.. I had to play the game again (luckily with an even better outcome) but this time I saved right before the game was over. I got the freezing screen again but I still have my saved game. WTF EA. This happened all through last years madden and considering that i've taken apart my PS2 multiple times I know that that is not the problem. How about you make a game that actually works. I haven't even owned madden for a MONTH and it's already freezing. :bigfinger:
 
Sucks for you. I never have problems with Madden.
 
there are few fuck ups on madden for ps2 yea it freezes a few time for me too

Go tell gamestop or wherever you got it. As long as you still have a warranty or whatever, you'll get a new copy.

I don't have any problems with my madden on ps2 either. Must be your disk.
 
Welcome to my world.Madden 06 is messed up for me and I have to clean it like 20 times before it will load up. I would get 07 but I'm broke right now.

I fixed it lol.
 
A lot of times is just a dusty lens.

well, logic states that since both last years AND this years madden messed up, the error is notm adden but your PS2. you took it apart miltiple times, yet you are not a computer/viedeo game console engineer, which means it is possible, (letalone plausible) that you unintentionally knocked something askew.
 
yeah, you shouldnt have taken it apart... the just wipe off the eyepieceand blowing into nintendo/sega genisis/super nintendo cartridges was so much cooler than this new shit

I had to replace that one too and now it works fine. I had problems with NHL 06 with the PS2. Since mine is one of the original gen I had to take it apart and fix it. It worked fine after that. I returned my game and got a new one and the mid game freezing doesnt happen any more. The end of the game freezing still happens though. I think its a problem with the memory card this time. It says I have a settings file for madden that is corrupted. it won't let me delete it through the start menu in the ps2, through the madden game, or even through my max drive disk... I tested Madden 06 and it runs fine so maybe it's that saved corrupt file that wont delete.
 
or maybe you all are crazy for buying 400 dollar systems and spending 50-60 on each game?

Great now when I make a franchise or something it gets corrupted half the time.. i've tried switching memory cards and it still does that.. People from other sites have said that it's a glitch in madden 07 and cant be deleted ever. Thanks a lot EA.
