Let Me Help:

NEW YORK — Huddled in the corner of the visiting locker room at the Barclays Center, away from the television cameras and microphones and hoopla of another Trail Blazers victory, Earl Watson confidently summed up what everyone on his team believes but has been reluctant to say aloud.

“This record is real,” the Blazers’ resident sage said, before adding. “This all came together quicker than anyone ever thought. Which is amazing.”

LMAO I just put that on my signature! I love it!

That "He is, but he's next-level angry right now." is so fucking ridiculous. it reminds me of this classic

Matthews has become the biggest surprise to me. It seems he is playing at an ungodly level right now. It is sooooooo impressive!

But I thought everybody said Wes Matthews was garbage because of the way he was playing in preseason. Where are the haters now?

Correction. Nobody said he was Garbage with credit. They were concerned (myself included), that something was up with him. Like does he really want to be in Portland

The thing with Wes is when he is injured he is no where near as good as when he is healthy. And since he plays injured he often looks......old.

Has he ever looked better than these last 10 games? Forget his 3's, he usually is good at that. But the way he has been attacking the basket, posting up, and hitting the pull up J........whole different level IMO.

Let's just hope and pray that he stays healthy all season. I would love to see the Wes we had when he first arrived. I remembered seeing 15 point quarters on a frequent basis.

Wes played less basketball this summer than ever with his surgery and he did not look good in preseason games but that's preseason. I think Wes could contend for Most Improved Player this season if he continues. What I'm happy to see is Wes making his layups and even creating his own shot. The 3's were always there and the D's were always there. Wes loves this team, he's not looking elsewhere. I'm giving him daily write in votes on the allstar ballot, he's earned them.

I think Earl Watson is being groomed by Stotts to be a future assistant coach. They go way back to the Seattle days together.

The way he throws his body around will take a toll. Terry needs to limit his minutes. He was high man last night with 37. Nice to see LMA down to 35 minutes. It would be nice to get Wes and Batum down there too. Wright with only 11 minutes is not enough.

This crow tastes terrible. UGH!

This is how I have it:

Yeah, I'd like to get Wes & Nic down to ~33mpg. There's no reason not to play Wright more minutes.

The guys been in the league a long time. He speaks the truth. Whether the Blazers maintain this pretty amazing pace matters not to me. They play a really exciting brand of basketball and they are an unselfish group of guys that are near impossible to dislike.

I have noticed LaMarcus taking a stronger more verbal leadership role. We're so used to him just letting his game do the talking in the past. He really seems to have grow into the team captain/All Star role and the responsibility that it entails. He's initiated player "meetings" right on the court. I can't remember him doing that in prior years and I love that! These players really seem to be more communicative and connected during games.

I saw some stat last night; last year we lead the league in minutes played by starters at 72%. This year we still lead the league at 72%.

Stotts is doing what he needs to to win games and 10 games in, these guys want to be on the court. When we start blowing teams out, the bench can finish more games. TRob is just getting to where you can trust him for longer. LaMarcus, Nic and Wes need to play with Mo on the court to get chemistry. So far a 9 man rotation just like Nate used to use. When you're winning, you don't need to experiment too much with the bench. Expect Wright and Robinson's minutes to increase over time and they are learning to play team defense against different opponents. Now is the time for the starters to build momentum, they've had all summer to rest except Nico.
